With every opportunity to take advantage of a stranded motorist the owner of Capital Towing, instead, chose to treat us like VIP repeat customers. He made room in a busy shop, on a Friday, so we would be saved the cost of extra days in a motel. His crew performed repairs quickly, expertly and less expensively than expected. On Wednesday, November 30, 2011, a passing truck tossed a rock at the drivers door glass of our Ford Pick-up and it shattered. On Thursday, December 1, I constructed a cardboard replacement window and we headed for Whitehorse, from Watson Lake, to see if we could get a door glass installed. We had traveled for less than an hour when the Ford engine spit one of the spark plugs out of the head and we now limped toward Whitehorse with a completely different repair need taking priority. Shops in Whitehorse were packed but Jason at Capital towing agreed to make room for us on Friday, December 2. He had a door glass in stock and was able to perform the repairs to the head necessary to install a spark plug in the stripped out opening. I dropped the truck off at 8 a.m. and by 1 p.m. it was back in my hands. The engine runs better than ever, I no longer experience a wind whistle from the drivers door, and all of it (particularly the door glass) cost less than expected. No matter your automotive needs, I can wholeheartedly recommend Capital Towing. The personnel are beyond competent and the owner is a man of honor and integrity.

We were driving the Alaska highway when my Subaru radiator went up in smoke. We called capital towing, and they were there within an hour and a half. They towed us to their shop. Doug said he would get his guys out to find a salvaged radiator so we could get back in the road to Fairbanks. We stayed overnight and were able to pick up our car at noon the next day. They had extraoedinary customer service. They went above and beyond what anyone else would do for us. I cant say enough about how amazing they treated us. We are very grateful for their work.

Driver was nice but that is where the good experience ended. When I got to dealership that I had the car towed to I found the car had been left across the street from the dealership instead of in their lot. The car wasnt drivable so I couldnt move it on my own, they had left it directly in front of a fire hydrant. I called capital towing to let them know of the mistake and they were very rude. They also didnt deal with the problem. Rude and irresponsible;a business to avoid if you can.
