After multiple years of purchasing electronics from Visions in Saskatoon, we made the mistake of buying their extended warranty again. At the time of the purchase I was concerned about buying three extended warranties at the same time for three different phones. We were told if not used they can be used in a rebate towards another purchase. I applied for the rebate forms on line and after two weeks no reply from Visions. I went by the store and was told to wait another week and go back to the store. Went back to the store was told to try again. So I did and finally did receive the rebates. Now when we purchased the phones, all purchases were shown on one bill and paid for at the same time. Go back to try and purchase a laptop and was told we could only use one rebate at a time. They had no problem taking all warranty payments at the same time, but apparently using them at the same time is not allowed. Would have been nice to know that when they were purchased. Needless to say, we wont be going to Visions for our electronics anymore and of course will not be referring any customers to them as well. Now I must admit we did buy extended warranties before and they expired before we were able to use them, and we said to ourselves we wouldnt let that happen again. Thank goodness there are other electronic stores in the city who are willing to help us with our future electronic purchases. I do realize that my purchases does not amount to much money in the Visions bank roll, but in my experience word of mouth is a great way of getting a point across.

I would just like to elaborate on my years of shopping at visions and why I would recommend it to anyone looking for good deals on various electronics. My first experience with them was buying a complete car audio system, never once did they try to push me into buying something that I didnt need. I told them what I was looking for and they gave me plenty of options to choose from and when I had my eye on something they didnt try to one up me to buying the better version. I even ended up returning the first deck I bought and they took it back and helped steer me to another that I found suited much better. After that experience I find myself coming back lots by myself or bringing friends to score amazing deals on phone cases, headphones, home audio, and plenty of other items. I have never dealt with rude service and never had warranty offers stab me in the back. I realize it is commission and that they do scale up the prices but most of them are willing to drop the prices to something that can make both parties happy. I would like also like to shout out to a salesman named Matthew I believe for giving me a great experience throughout the past 4 or 5 times I have came to buy little things. He really went out of his way to help me seek out what I was looking for every time I entered the store. Really appreciated his assistance! All of the other staff that work there also put in the effort to keep their customers happy and coming back! Definitely recommend this store once again to anyone looking for anything involving electronics!

My month long experience with Visions came to a close today; I bought a remote starter on boxing day, along with a second remote. They told me they didnt have the remote in stock but it would be in the following Tuesday. Fast forward to Tuesday and I go back and am told that the order got lost; but there was another shipment coming in on Friday that would have my remote on it. Friday rolls around and wouldnt you know it? The remote wasnt in that shipment either! So finally the manager took my name and phone number and told me that he would call me back when it showed up; two weeks went by and I didnt hear anything back, so I gave them a phone call and spent over 10 minutes on hold. So I hung up and phoned back and left a message for the manager to call me back when he had a minute. I didnt hear back from him at that point either. So now today; I called and asked about my remote (making sure to mention to the manager that Ive been given the run around for a month now and am getting upset about it) and was spoke to with an attitude that I didnt appreciate given my dealings with trying to get my remote that I had paid for a month prior! TL;DR - Bought a remote starter and ordered a separate remote, was told it would be in on Friday, and ended up waiting over a month to get it.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with visions electronics. I phoned ahead to see if they had the tablet I wanted and the salesman Kurt Wolfe informed me they didnt,but found a reasonable solution. But wanted me to check with him when I got there to make sure the tablet was suitable for my needs,as he regularly only sells tvs as thats where hes more experienced. I got there and we talked and consulted with his manager about the tablet,and he informed us that the tablet I was going to purchase had a 100% return rate because of the poor quality of the device and seemed genuinely frustrated that the company makes them sell such an inferior product. He then asked me what I originally wanted and said it was a decent tablet for the price. And even though it said on the computer they had none in stock he said hed sell me the floor model which they normally dont do. Kurt went to look in the back for the box and all components and upon doing so he discovered that in fact they did indeed have one brand new in stock. So I ended up getting the tablet I wanted to begin with brand new. Both were extremely helpful and informative and I would definitely recommend to other people to shop at visions electronics for any tech and electronics. Ill definitely shop there again.

This evening, I drove up to Visions to look at a laptop I was hoping to purchase. Before I left I was warned to think carfully about what I was buying because they do work on commission. When I got there it was two hours untill closing so I wasnt intruding on any closing duties, but still I got very little service. I am not a very tall person, and the laptop I wanted was on a higher shelf. I wated a little while for some one to come help but when no one did I was forced to stand on my toes and uncomfortally hold the laptop to see if it was what I wanted. Unable to use it I wandered aimlessly around the store waiting for help, I recived none even though there were four employees socializing in the tv section and one at the cell phone counter. Eventually the cell phone guy came and tried to help but didnt know what he was really doing, he then informed me that they would be getting the laptop in stock tomorrow and I could return then. Visions is a far drive for me and its not worth the gas I would spend to save $10 on the computer. They are not helpful, and not worth it!
