Purchased a vehicle from Mark last year and initially left a positive review because I was satisfied with the purchase and care. A year later and it is now a different story. The car I was sold was heavily rusted but I was assured that the rusted areas would be removed and new parts put in place. Instead what they did was epoxy over the rocker panel rust and above the wheel hubs and simply painted over. The car appeared repaired when I purchased it after this work had been done. I visually inspected the car prior to purchase, but did not touch anything to see what type of work had been performed. If I had felt the rocker panel by hand, I could have probably pushed right through it with enough force as there is hardly any metal remaining in the structure. 4 months after purchase, the rust had started to seep back through, and now 13 months later I have a terribly rusted and unsightly car on my hands that I would not be able to sell for half of what I paid for it ($5000CAD+QST). Ive moved to Florida since the acquisition and body shops here say nothing can be done for under $1500USD and the best I can hope for is another 2 years of use at best. For this price, youd expect a car in good condition with little to no acquired rust a year after purchase, not something on the verge of falling through itself. The rust extends through the undercarriage of the car, and the muffler has rusted off of its welding and had to be replaced. I remember Mark asking me why I dont trust him when I requested to view the car before handing him the cheque on the day I picked it up, and it is now evident why he was so defensive. Another issue was with the tires. When I purchased in December 2015, there was a promotion for free winter tires. I had assumed that these were on the car as advertised, only to realize 2 months later during an oil change that not only did I not receive winter tires, but three of the four tires had no tread remaining and had to be replaced due to safety concerns. He had the car inspected for safety in Quebec during the winter, so he must have deliberately swapped out the winter tires with the worn all seasons before handing the car over to me. Yet another deceptive tactic that I fell victim to from being too trusting and naive. In the end, this is my fault for not rigorously examining the car and using buyers discretion in knowing not to buy a car with rust, even if the seller assures itll be removed. Dont be deceived by any of the cars on the lot by looks on the surface and know if there is an issue that they say theyll take care of, itll probably only be a stop gap solution to make the sale- definitely check thoroughly for signs of concealed rust or other shoddy body work performed in the garage next door to conceal defects in the car. And dont be taken off guard by the staffs charm. Better yet, steer clear of here completely. From reading other reviews here, it seems initial satisfaction, only to be met with frustration and annoyance a few months later from having been lied to is a prevailing trend for this dealer. Ive attempted, along with a family member, to contact the owner to voice my displeasure to no avail. Do not be suckered into being told youre getting a good deal when youre really being taken advantage of like I was. I cant count the number of times Mark emphasized I was getting a great deal and that he "couldve gotten a lot more" for an 06 Mazda 3 GTS with 102,000km. If the car were in decent shape he probably couldve gotten a few hundred dollars more, but in the condition its in, it is and was at the time of purchase worth far less....

At first, these guys seemed okay. We live West of the city (they are on the East end) and wanted to look a vehicle that had been posted that day. Mark asked if Bells Corners was more convenient for us and took it to his house for us to look at and test drive. I wasnt able to go, but my boyfriend went in for me. The guy got up from dinner to see him. The test drive was okay; there were a few issues my boyfriend pointed out. Mark assured him they would all be fixed prior to purchase, he just prioritizes the vehicles people are interested in because of the amount of vehicles they sell. I went in two days later (we had a put a down payment on it for him to hold it). It wasnt available for me to test drive (it was in the garage - to their credit, I just stopped in), so I reiterated the concerns that my boyfriend had pointed out. Again, I was assured that it would all be taken care of, and that if I wasnt satisfied, I could get my money back. They assured me that as USDA certified dealer, they dont sell anything not safetied or e-tested. The ad for the vehicle said the vehicle came with free tires. It didnt. It also said it had AC. Its broken. It said new brakes. The calipers are old. By and large, Mark did what he said, so we bought it. My boyfriend is mechanically inclined and can fix the AC and brakes. The real issues started four days after I got it. The car started shaking really badly. The check engine light came on. When we called, we expressed concerns with having them fix it, since they had promised all issues would be dealt with before buying and it hadnt even been a week. I thought they cleared the code for sale. But again, to his credit, he offered to fix it - I just didnt have the confidence. This is where I am today. I only bought the vehicle a week ago. If the problems are fixed, and Mark comes good on his word as he indicated and some other reviews did, I will change my rating accordingly. In the meantime, for anyone reading this, my caution is this: make sure you do your due diligence. Thoroughly check the vehicles. Document all issues that you notice, and all terms you agree to. Test drive before and after the work. Maybe purchase the extended warranty (I did). I bought a beautiful little car. I just dont know yet whether I got completely ripped off or a great little deal. The problems that Ive had to deal with in such a short period of time make me feel like the former. I did my research. I checked the vehicle. My big downfall was not taking the second test drive. So I encourage you to do so. Hopefully, this was a coincidence, an honest mistake, and all this headache will be gone soon.

I dealt with two gentleman at Canada Sagh who were both extremely honest and helpful. I purchased a 2008 Saturn Astra which was very reasonably priced. When I took it for a test drive, there were a few minor things that I brought up to them. They were kind in assuring me that those would of course be fixed (and they were fixed). They also provided me with a CarProof before I purchased the car, which I appreciated greatly. I went to a few other places before I came here and when I when I brought up issues at those places, they got angry and one actually got aggressive with me. That same person even said, "I dont have to tell you everything thats wrong with the car." So I was VERY happy to deal with Canada Sagh; I had the opposite of that experience here. I offered them a little less than the list price and they were generous enough to accept. I really didnt expect them to since the price was already very reasonable AND they had someone else outside who was looking to purchase the car, probably for full price. The turnaround on the car was excellent (less than a week) and they took care of absolutely everything. They also included a 12 month warranty with the car, which just adds extra confidence. I was also lucky enough to get an extra pair of tires, which is a fantastic bonus. When I picked up the car yesterday, they surprised me with an additional key fob with auto start which obviously saved me a lot of money! They really bent over backwards for me for no reason other than providing an exceptional customer experience. They could have certainly made more money by selling it to someone else, or not giving me the extras. I am 100% confident in my purchase and I would recommend Canada Sagh to anyone looking for a great car at a great price with genuine customer service.
