My car broke down and Christmas Day and I was forced to take the car to speedy in North Bay. I paid 1000$ for repairs and arrived to Toronto only to realize the problem was still there. On top of all this my battery died and when i went to boost my battery I realized my hood didnt even open. When I was pulled over on the side of the road prior to taking my car to Speedy, I was easily able to open my hood. I spoke to Jonathan (JR), at customer service, who informed me that speedy would not cover the repairs to get my hood mechanism working again. The mechanic who worked on my car in North Bay, Mike, said that I had a pair of pliers on the side of my door (i dont even own any tools of my own) which I was using to open the hood manually before bringing the car to Speedy. Mike also informed me that he had mentioned to me that the hood latch wasnt working upon picking up the car. (Completely false). Why would I refuse to get my hood working again (180$ cost) after spending over 1000$ on other repairs? Their story makes zero sense!! I feel utterly betrayed and taken advantage of, not only am I out a $1000, but now they are blatantly lying to my face about the fact that 1.they informed me that the hood latch was not working & 2. that I was using pliers, which they found in m car, to open the hood. (To this day I still have no idea what pliers they are speaking on) After speaking to Jonathan, who stated he was the highest form of authority i could speak to in customer services, he said he "twisted mikes hand into paying for half the repairs". When I told him i wanted to file a fomal complain with customer service so this kind of thing wouldnt happen to others without going unnoticed, he quickly withdrew the offer to pay for half the repairs after realizing his name would come up in the complaint. Great customer service, right?! I feel so taken advantage of, I feel my character has been insulted, and the customer (who I guess in this case in never right and a liar apparently), is now being asked to pay 180$ on top of the 1000$ he already paid to fix an issue that was in fact caused by those trusted to do the repairs. I will never recommend Speedy to a single person I come across, in fact I would advise them to take their car any where but Speedy. If there was a zero star option, I would choose it. Thanks Speedy, im down a 1000$, I still have a broken hood and all Speedy just wants to charge me for more work so they can get paid. The people at Speedy North Bay are beyond unprofessional and Speedy Customer service is without a doubt HEARTLESS!

Wow! Couldnt believe the service. I called and spoke with both Terry and Mike and felt reassured that they would take good care of me. I took my car into Speedy when my power steering fluid spewed out all over my driveway and I expected a bill of several hundred dollars. Within a half hour of taking my car in, I received a call back from Mike stating that they could fix my car immediately and I would have it back in a couple hours. Better yet, it only cost me $150. They could have soaked me for several hundred dollars and I would never have known the difference. They were able to actually fix the part rather than just wait several days for a new part to come in. This is what being a mechanic is all about. Fixing cars, not just replacing parts. The guys at Speedy are fantastic and I would highly recommend them to all my friends. Thank you for your honesty and hard work.

The best in town!!! After reading some of the reviews for Speedy Auto Service in North Bay, I am completely and utterly baffled! I have brought both my car and truck to Speedy on several different occasions for miscellaneous reasons (oïl changes, check ups, tire changes, etc..) and have been nothing but 100% satisfied with the knowledge and service provided by the Speedy Auto team. The owner, Mike, always goes above and beyond. His customer service is surpassed by none! I recommend Speedy Auto to anyone and everyone looking to have any work done on their vehicles. I will most definitely continue to bring both of my current vehicles, as well as my future vehicles to their establishment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -- I promise that you will not be disappointed. Thank you to Mike and his team for their quality service.

Mike and the all guys at speedy are top shelf. They will only repair the problems you came in for and never overcharge. Any issue Is always addressed right away. If you have any issue when leaving with your repaired vehicle they have a customer service van waiting on standby to help you out wherever you maybe. got an oil an oil change done fron this location second day my engine gone no oil in it all leaked the mechanic left drain plug loose I lost big time the current manager is not co.oprative and dont know how to talk to customers I will never go back their they making me pay for their fault shame on speedy auto service northbay

Under new ownership- "MIKE" is great and friendly, eager to please and boy are they SPEEDY! well worth the wait (high demand), and the wait is never too long. Although its small, they get it done right! Finally a place that puts people first and its not just a catch phrase. affordable too! spring 2012
