Just bought a new vehicle from Murphy Ford. They bent over backwards for me - found a truck with the option packages I wanted, gave me a great deal on both the vehicle & my trade in - but, frankly these points are secondary. What impressed me the most? How they treated me. The sales tactics dont deserve to be called that. One on one conversations where the salesperson listened and responded based on my needs - that was my experience. Let me give 2 concrete examples contrasted against the previous time I purchased a new vehicle: Murphy Ford - full fuel tank, didnt ask for it, they just did it. Immediate Competitor - 1/4 tank of fuel. They fueled it after I complained and then attempted to charge me for it with a 3 cent / L surcharge on top. Murphy Ford - mentions dealer installed options, but removed them at my request to meet my budget. Immediate Competitor - extremely pushy attempt to get dealer installed option, kept repeating how they were giving a great price on it. 1 phone call later, what they wanted to charge me $700, I could get for $400 - at the same shop they used. $300 charge to drive the vehicle 2km. Yeah, great deal. Another example, no comparison this time. The vehicle I purchased had some mileage on it due to test drives / dealer use - engine is basically 1/2 way into its break in period, which is a good time to do an oil change. I requested an oil change to full synthetic (Ford uses semi-synth) and specifically mentioned that I would pay out of pocket. Picked up the vehicle today & they refused to charge me for it even after I insisted. That, ladies & gentlemen, is customer service done right. Murphy Ford just gained a very loyal customer.

Widowed mother (70 years of age) purchased a new 2017 Ford Escape (7th vehicle our family has purchased from this dealer over the past 20 years). While driving, low tire warning light warns her of a problem - Calls roadside assistance and the decision is made to tow her new vehicle to the dealership. She is told that there is NO loaner as these are limited and only available to patrons making a reservation. She is then told that the replacement tire will only be available in three (3) days... Given that there is no other vehicle to offer her as a temporary replacement, the option of installing the spare tire is made in order for her to drive around. She is charged 25.00 for a technician to change the tire. Suffice it to say, this is the type of customer loyalty the parts department, parts manager and general manager took - Not a question of money but principle. This dealer clearly demonstrates the level of commitment and value offered to repeat customers - NONE. Although we were told three days prior that they would take care of the charge, my mother was ultimately charged the $25.00 fee. After 42 years of working as a registered Nurse (palliative medicine) this is the treatment our elderly receive. SHAME on the Murphy Ford organization, you are not the pillar of service the community was accustomed too many years ago. It is apparent that the almighty dollar - $25.00, is more important than 20 years of family loyalty entrusted to vehicle purchases. This Ford Escape is the LAST vehicle that we will ever buy from you. Lariviere family.

I was looking for a used truck and had put out a few feelers. Mike Murphy called me and said that although he did not have exactly what i was looking for he thought he had a good truck that I might be interested in as it was a very good deal. I am in Ottawa and was not sure I could get to Pembroke soon enough but he offered to bring it down. He showed up the next morning and i test drove the truck in my Pajamas. It was a gorgeous truck and way more that I was looking for but he made me an offer I couldnt refuse. They took care of the paperwork and delivered the truck to me in Ottawa 2 days later in the evening. I took possession from Mike Personally and once again I was in my pajamas. I believe Mike thinks I stay in my Pajamas all day. They forwarded all remaining warranty papers to a local dealer for me and I could not be happier and would recommend them very highly. I love this truck so much that i hope it will last me forever but I use it pretty hard in the bush and when the time comes I will definately be heading up the highway to Pembroke and I will even change out of my pajamas before I go. Thanks Murphy Ford and a special thanks to Mike.

Went to Kanata Ford originally to look into trading in my 2014 F150 as they were promising more money for your trade in, Kanata Ford offered me below the low value of the Black Book. So I called Murphy Ford where I bought my truck originally 2 years ago. They offered me more sight unseen for my vehicle then Kanata Ford, as well gave my specs that I was looking for to my salesman Steve and he found me my vehicle and he gave me my price I wanted over the phone. I arrived in Pembroke early Saturday morning where I was greeted by the owner Mike and a coffee (Wow I felt like the most important person in the world) then Steve greeted me and we finished the negotiation for my trade and new vehicle. Steve and Mike both exceeded my expectation and made my vehicle buying experience very easy and with little to no stress, they made me feel like family. In turn, I have been recommending them to anyone that is looking to buy a new vehicle, hence when my parents get back from Florida they want to meet the team at Murphy ford as they are in the market for a new vehicle.

Good service when it comes to buying a vehicle, but getting it fixed? Whole different story. They never call you to tell you your vehicle is ready or if there are circumstances where the vehicle has to be left there for an extended period of time. I had to call them myself to find out my car had to be there a week. Did I get offered a loaner? NO! My primary vehicle gone and no way to get my kids to daycare or myself to work and they dont care to figure out a way to get you a vehicle. Oh they are out of loaners, well I guess your SOL. A week later and still no call or answer when I call all day, about my vehicle being ready. Piss poor service, something needs to change!!!

We live in Ottawa and recently bought a Ford Edge limited from Murphy Ford in Pembroke and we just couldnt be happier. We dealt directly with Michael Murphy. He was extremely helpful and available anytime for any questions we had and he even dropped it off. Fantastic service, great deals and a real pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend. We bought our truck in October and we absolutely loved the customer service. This was the third vehicle me and my husband have purchased from murphy ford and we would happily go back when it is time to get a new one. We have also had our vehicles repaired there without any issues. We have found that everyone is very friendly in all the departments!!!

Got below MSRP. and considering they only got 1 for first launch thats pretty awesome. the branch owner even came out to meet with us.
