Brought our Jeep here approximately six months ago as it had overheated and we were recommended to visit a Chrysler dealership (we had been using Canadian Tire/Walmart as were unsure who to trust in the area). They charged us an hour of diagnostics and said it was running fine now and we could come get it. When we arrived, the service advisor stated that the radiator looked new and they must not have properly bled the system when they changed it. I told her that was impossible, the radiator was nowhere near new, and she responded, "Well, it looks new." She dismissed my questions and I explained to her that my father is a service manager at a Chrysler dealership and, even if he had replaced the rad, it wouldve been properly bled following (how an air pocket in the system would show up years down the road and begin causing problems is beyond me). She said, "Well, thats what we think it is" and we left $80 poorer - they had also filled up the coolant for us. Six months later- present day- and a crack has been found in the radiator. We replaced it and I had forgotten all about Lapointes until we cleaned the Jeep out to sell it and I found this receipt. Clearly on the receipt its stated "radiator looks new - must not have properly bled system on replacement" and I chuckled a little at how far off this advisor and/or her mechanics were. Thanks but no thanks, we wont be back (also - good customer service means answering questions and not making customers feel like theyre not entitled to know how you reached a diagnosis or clarify your assumptions, even if I am a woman).

Had a terrible experience and will not be going back. I went in to get my tires and cruise control looked at and they told me they would shuttle me home. I waited for an hour and a half, waiting for them to take me and they forgot! They said they were looking at the car the whole time but that turned out not being true. When I asked to see what was going on, I went back and they had done nothing. Such a waste of time and definitely waste of money. Ended up being there for over 2.5 hours with nothing accomplished but losing money. The waiting area was terrible. There were literally people getting locked into a room right in our area over and over again. Im not joking. It was ridiculous. And the employees would hang out by that area and gossip about the other employees and their personal relationships. It seems like theyre always like this too. There were others that day that were mad that day too. One man was talking to them asking why he was still waiting on his vehicle. He was told his his oil change was going to take only 15 minutes to be finished but at that point he had been there for an hour and a half and they hadnt even started. Will not be returning.

Not a place anybody should leave $60,000 of their money! First impression was as negative as the last one before walking out! It looked like a shady old timer casino! I got bounced from sales person to sales person to manager...he kept going back to make the call, to who nobody knows! When you only show what it would be the monthly payment without showing the whole worksheets of numbers, something is wrong! They were emphasizing on the amazing deal-event nobody get beat, adorned with balloons and Chrysler sales rep, I didnt get the deal I was willing to settle for; but I can tell you that even if they did and being able to drive back home with that beautiful new truck, I wouldnt complete the deal! Just didnt feel right about anything there. Think twice before walk in there. Good luck.

I am being harrased. It has been 4 years of harrasment. They wont stop calling. After filing police reports and speaking with managers we were promised they would stop calling and they still call. All the time. I am now getting calls from Renfrew Chrysler as well. Every time someone calls I tell them I am not supposed to be contacted and to remove my name and number and they still call. I have even moved away from the area for over 6 months now and they still call. THEY WONT STOP!!!! tried calling them and asking for the store manager and we got the run around. It is ridiculous. I guess another police report will have to be filed, which I sad, because the last one obviously didnt work. They call me and my husband so they have 2 phone numbers on their list. Sooo frustrating. Beyond pissed.

A four hundred dollar administration fee is normal, not eleven hundred! That was my first clue to leave. Their stock is horribly over priced, so I told the sales rep Id go for a walk to check out the next dealership. Suddenly it was like Hotel California " you can check in any time, but you can never leave"."Hold on friend, let me check something out for you" hed say. soon enough a twenty six thousand dollar vehicle was twenty one. A Jeep Patriot Sport, base line, is about twenty. "we are the only ones who can give you a loaner can in the meantime" obviously a flat out lie. Dont step in the front door if you dont have a friend who is a serious ball buster to back you up.

Tuesday September 9th went looking for a truck stopped in Mandi was working she was warm friendly knowledgeable and not pushy. By the time we left we purchased a Dodge 1500 Ram, Mandi worked within our budget to purchase the truck. Chris was great helping with the paperwork. The truck was washed and ready for pick-up when they said it would be. Mandi took our picture and made sure she sent it to us. The whole experience at Jimmy LaPointes was good and we have told friends that is where they should go and ask for Mandi. A very good experience, because of the people working there. Hayden and Lynn

Horrible service. I originally negotiated a deal which was agreed upon by the manager over the phone. I had stated that my drive was 90 minutes away and booked a time to meet. Upon arriving, the manager stated that the terms changed and the price will not be as agreed upon over the phone. Ive owned over 10 vehicles throughout my time, and never have I been insulted this way. In fact, Ive never written a review prior. I highly recommend and warn to please avoid dealing with these dishonest liars. Im sure your chances with another dealer will be much better.

Went in to finance My first car, there was a couple hiccups because of my age at the time and my occupation, but they got through it all and got me in a brand new dodge dart for the fraction of the price for a new one because it had a couple thousand km on it so it was considered "used" at the time I dealt with willow as my sales person and she was great, but everyone else there was friendly and awesome, to this day every time I get my car serviced its always on time and out when they tell me its going to be done!

They sold me a lemon and the lady told me thats why you dont buy junk... Why were they selling junk in the first place? I drove all the way from Toronto area to come pick it up and the car wouldnt start and they wouldnt refund my money. Crooks!!! Nd I had to tow it and they wouldnt help me with he cost at all. And now Im driving back to Toronto area thinking about all the other customers they screwed over. By the way the new name in my phone book is la lemon Chrysler not la point Chrysler cheers crooks!!
