We were on the road travelling home to the East Parry Sound area from an appointment in Ottawa, when Dad phoned and asked us to get a tire (26 x 12.00 x 12) for our International 1190 Hay Mower Conditioner. Where we live (south of the North Bay area) there are no Case IH dealers and the tire is a special order that would come from Montreal. We stopped at the TSC Store in Arnprior - no luck. We stopped at the Renfrew Case IH dealer, and were told (BY THEM!!!) that the place to get the tire was definitely at Kal Tire. Not only did Kal Tire have it in stock but their retail price was less than our wholesale order price! Their friendly and knowledgeable staff recommended an inner tube in case the rim was rough - of course, they did not know that we own and operate a truck repair garage (Mooreview Truck and Tractor in Golden Valley, Ontario) and could have dealt with the rim, but the tube would have been a special order as well. As we are also farmers (as many in northern Ontario are, and the haying season was about to start) we really appreciated the prompt attention the great gal behind the counter gave us (she lives on a farm, too! - her pic is on their website). Sorry, I forget her name, but would like to mention Stefan, whose name I do remember, as being most helpful. Discovering these fantastic people along our long journey was a joy. Best wishes and continued success to this asset to the Renfrew community!

My wife and I were driving to Beachburg from Sudbury to paddle on the Ottawa River when we blew a tire in Mattawa. Managed to get to Beachburg on the doughnut and called Kaltire in Renfrew regarding two new rear tires on our Yaris (the other one was wearing thin too). Spoke with Stephanie and I will say the service was excellent from that point until we got our tires changed next day. They had right size tires at a great price. We were in and out of the shop within twenty minutes. Shop staff were as cheerful, friendly and helpful as Stephanie. I usually use Kaltire here in Sudbury and service is good but Renfrew Kaltire was a standout! Definitely five stars from my wife and I and thanks to all of them!
