Absolutely horrible products and service. I purchased a battery a about a year and a half ago strictly for use in a car I drive only during the summer. The battery needed a boost almost every time I let the car sit for a week or more, the summer I bought it. I shouldve returned it at that time, but I suspected a small power draw in the car. I charged the battery in December before putting in my basement for winter storage. I attempted to charge it before putting in the car this April, and was surprised to see it wouldnt accept any charge at all. When I visited The Battery House, I was told my receipt was useless,by the woman that was working, before she basically threw it at me. She kept the battery for a week to try a deep cycle charge. I received a call a few days later from a man, telling me my battery was basically toast for no apparent reason and that I could pick it up anytime. I asked if I could speak the manager, and was told to call on Mondays or Tuesdays. The following week I visited with the manager, and he couldnt give me any explanation as to why the battery wouldnt charge other than perhaps a factory defect. A factory defect that he wouldnt warranty because I was past the one year date. Now my biggest problem is this, I didnt expect a brand new battery, free of charge, but perhaps a small discount on a new one. The battery hadnt seen 4 months of use,and less that than 3000kms. He wouldnt even give me a discount on a used/refurbished unit. His explanation was that the battery was perhaps just a dud, which happens all the time with lots of things we purchase. He went as far as to use, a brand new car that is a lemon from the factory, as an example. Way to stand behind your product buddy! He was irritating to deal with. I tried to remain calm and make a deal with him, so we were both satisfied, but he wouldnt have any part of it. I questioned his customer service skills and he said he simply didnt care, since the warranty was expired. Anyway I WILL NEVER, buy another battery from the Battery House, and I would suggest you do not either. You might end up with a dud.

I bought a battery Sept. 28th 2013 for my classic car( I was advised not to buy it there from my car guy) Being money conscience I bought it. I installed it Sept 19 th. I drove the car until the 1st of Nov.2013 and then put it in storage. That was only one month usage. I tried my car April 28th 2014 would not turn over. I took the battery to my car guy to have it charged. It would not charge. I went to the Battery House. They said there was nothing wrong with. It was not charged correctly, they explained how they would charge it, They said they would call me when it was done. I waited 6 day then went in. No reason as to way they didnt call me . They said it was ok now. May 17th 2014 I installed the battery in the car. why should be surprise ,wont start car lights looked like candle lights. I went back to the Battery House. Explained the situation again. He checked the battery and said it should start the car. Well it wont. He gave me a new one off the shelf. To my surprise . He had told me that I should have installed the battery in the car right away and not let it sit. Thats strange because he took the new battery that he gave me off the shelf. That had been sitting longer the my battery had. The second thing is I bought a battery at the same time for my lawn tractor. That to would not start the tractor. I tried to get it charged and the same thing it would not charge. Took it back and was told it was only warranty for 6 months I sure hope the new replacement works. I recommend to buy your battery some where else. Batteries used to be warrantied 24 to 60 months. With the high tech cars and electronics what happened. Money grab.

Customer service is average. Maybe below average. I recently contacted them about an issue I had with a charger they sold me. They were not able to help me or offer any solutions. They missed a chance to go the extra mile and offer really excellent customer service. Instead theyve lost a customer and gotten a 2 star rating on this review. So short sighted. Save a couple of dollars today and lose a long term customer. Doesnt seem worth it to me.

Battery House will not refund your money should you have an issue with a battery they supply. Any reputable company that stands behind their products will offer a money refund within a reasonable period of time especially if the product is obviously defective. But to tell the customer that they cant get their money back and deflect fault on the customer for the reason the battery is bad is just bad business.

Not impressed. They were not polite when I was talking to them. I had to give the battery number to them three times and then said I gave them the wrong number (I didnt). The they gave me only the most expensive solution ($38 for rechargeable). The competition gave me gave me a $9 solution and the option of upgrading to rechargeable.

I just returned a battery that I had purchased in May with a free three year replacement warranty and the service could not have been any better. I was in and out of the store with a new battery in less than 10 minutes. I have purchased two batteries there and am extremely satisfied with their service.

Havent had much luck with the battery house batteries. The battery they sold me did not work for very long so I bought a new battery from a different store that did work. No problems since.
