There are rarely times when I have been able to rely on a car dealership. During my 27 years of driving Ive owned 22 vehicles, my latest 2 daily drivers from Summit Dodge. My experiences have been nothing but exceptional. When I walk into that location I dont feel like a customer... I feel like a person. From the sales staff to the Receptionist and the Service Center... everyone treats me like a human being, and I never feel that I walk away with un-resolved issues. Ive known some of the employees for a very long time, and I have to say that I am impressed to see such strong abilities gathered at one location. Ive known Jason Embleton for almost as long as Ive been driving. A solid automotive sales figure from long ago, Jason is approachable and outgoing. As a Sales Manager, I couldnt envision him in a better role. Krisztian Fonagy is a sales associate to be reckoned with! He has unparallelled people skills and will work with someone to make sure they have the best experience possible. He sold me my 2 latest vehicles, and both times I was treated professionally and with great respect. Although new to the sales team, BJ Currie is an outstanding young sales guy. He had sold me a vehicle years ago, and I have every faith in the world that he will be highly successful! His sales skills are very prominent, and he never presents an atmosphere of pressure to sell during the sales process. David in finance couldnt be a better man for the job. He examines all possibilities regardless of how much time it could take him, and hes freindly and witty. Danny, Lynn and Brent from the Service Center are also exceptionally suited for what they do. Anytime I have any questions or issues at all, I never hesitate to give them a call or bring my vehicle in for a check up. Overall, its a pleasure to drive in to that location knowing that the staff are all friendly and approachable. I know others may have had their own experiences, but for me personally, I dont know how the competiton stays in business. wow..it sure pays to have a car under warranty, paid $78 for an oil change and to have the mechanic check out the wiper blade arm because it was a little loose where it was connected to the car. They charged me $16 to tighten it & tell me that there is a tiny tear on the end of it. And because its a safety item, its not covered under the cars warranty.. good thing the wipers are about a month old & under their own warranty anyway! The service guys suggested for me to buy a new one- at $33, I dont think so, buddy. Its bad enough they jacked the price up on oil changes (a good $20 difference from last year), but what happened to customer service??? Just gotta put a price on every freakin little thing eh..next thing you know theyll start charging people for sitting in waiting room! They didnt even reset the annoying change oil indicator (myself & the bf tried doing it ourselves but its a pain in the @ss) - Im afraid to take it in to have them reset it now because Im afraid theyll charge me! Im basing this rating off of this last visit, as I am not impressed one bit. I love my car and the people at the service desk are very nice, but these outrageous charges are for the birds. I know its probably not the dealership (or stealership, as one of my friends nicely put it), but its the corporate office head-honchos who need to get their heads out of their butts and take a stand for their customers.

Mixed experiences at Summit. Ive bought two new vehicles there within a year of one another. My truck i havent really had any issues with service. The car on the other hand.. wow. We have made appointments for recall work 2-3 weeks in advance, go to pick the car up, and they say we have to bring it back in, as they have ordered the parts for recall. "HELLO" people... it was HERE for the recall!! you should have had the parts here ALREADY!. they dont seem to understand (or care) that you have to be late for work/business to get this stuff looked after and under the assumption you can just drop your car off whenever and go without it for the day. There is an annoying rumbling noise in the rear of the car that has been there since the day we bought it, have had it in numerous times, the service manager told my wife it was the "high performance muffler, you know like on race cars." after droppingaround 70-75k on vehicles there in two years, youd think id get some decent service.

I had a great experience at Summit Dodge when we purchased our Town & Country. Our salesman, Steve Kennedy, went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were getting everything we were looking for and took the time to walk us through the pricing, financing and all the features of our new van. He was very knowledgable about the vehicle and he was very easy to deal with. We never once felt pressured to buy a vehicle and we were very happy with the deal we were able to negotiate. The service department was also top notch when it came to getting our winter tires put on. I picked up some used rims and brought them in to get my winter tires put on and of course they didnt fit so they had to take the tires off the new rims and put them back on the old rims, they did all of that and did not charge me even though it was my fault I had bought the wrong rims. I would recommend Summit to anyone in New Brunswick (and farther). Give Steve a call, it will be worth it!

After Purchasing 2 Dodge Rams (both 2009) in Aug 2012, I noticed the inspection runs out in June 2013, so took it in for service at Summit Dodge. Well was I surprised to find out that only 10 short months later all 4 brakes had to be replaced as there was nothing left. So....make a long story short - brakes only need to be at 50% in order to pass the inspection at that particular stealership - so at a mere $890.00 (in after market parts which was the "best they could do" ) I left there feeling slightly abused. A Vehicle the price and size of a RAM should, in my opinion have a decent safety inspection that would allow for a high ticket item like brakes (safety as well) be replaced prior to them selling them to an unsuspecting buying. So ...if you think you are getting a good deal....wait for it....that will soon change. Just spent my last visit to Summit....will buy dodge again...just not from them!!!

Ill keep it short and sweet. Summit Dodge in Fredericton loves your money and makes you feel certain the vehicle is for you. With the highest level of warranty coverage and after accepting a low blow trade in price for my 05 nissan, I felt comforted by a low interest rate for my new 2011 van. Now not even a week later, plates not even on the vehicle new. My vans tire was flat with a hole on the inside on the sidewall, not repairable. Hoping for a tire swap, I find myself getting the "Not Covered," "Unfortunate," " Bad luck," and " What do you want me to do about it?" talk. They offered the tire and installation at cost whenever they could order one in. I left unhappy and was able to get a new tire plus installation CHEAPER than their cost with their competitor SAME DAY. Lesson learned at Summit-- Customer Service Stops at the Sale.
