1) Bought car from dealer 8 years ago. Mediocre experience. 2) Stopped in 4 years ago to look at a used van. Upon learning of my budget, was passed off to an employee that looked and acted like a gofer. The van "passed our 100 (or whatever number it was) point inspection, look at the sticker certifying it!" The first thing I did was turn on the wipers as it was raining. The wipers hit each other (opposite direction wipers), rendering them useless. Passed a 100 point inspection eh? Tell me again about the quality of your mechanics and this "certified" used vehicle. 3) Had our car (the one bought 8 years ago) tested for MVI there. Was told I needed a brand new hood due to the rust. Price estimate was pushing $1000 due to having to order one and paint it, etc... "Impossible to fix this kind of deterioration, you need a new hood". I had an under the table guy fix it for $150, brought it back to the dealer and it passed. a) Thanks for trying to screw me Hyundai. You didnt even offer to slap on a used one. b) Thanks for making me contribute to the underground (no declaring of income, charging of taxes) market GNB. 4) Recently made an appointment to get my winter tires off and the summer ones put on (which are being stored at the dealer). Phoned the dealer 2 weeks later (prior to the actual appointment) to say we dont need the tires switched as were selling the car, but well still come by and get our tires. Was told that we "need to give them 24 hours notice so that they can get the tires" which our actual appointment didnt seem to cover for some reason (I suspect lack of critical thinking abilities by employee on phone) and that it would be a charge of $30. Apparently in the fine print (my bad for not reading it) it states that if you dont have the dealer put the tires on the vehicle, youll have to pay $30+ tax just to get them. When I picked up the tires, the only person available/willing to actually load the tires into my vehicle with me was the receptionist (dressed fancily and wearing heals as carrying dirty tires is probably not in her job description...great customer service on her part as I didnt ask for help but she recognized that the situation was Fed up...complete bull that she was put in that situation by her employer). Seems like someone (regarless of gender) wearing coveralls should have done it. Ive given you more than a fair amount of chances. Hyundai Fredericton is by far the worst dealer in Fredericton. To be avoided at all costs. If you really want a Hyundai, make the trip to a neighbouring city. If you buy from Fredericton, get serviced elsewhere.

To whom it may concern, Although I am a Hyundai customer (I own a 2012 Elantra), I am writing on behalf of my mother-in-law who owns a 2011 Elantra. My father-in-law recently passed away and my mother-in-law decided to move from Whitby, ON to join our family in Fredericton, NB. After being in New Brunswick for three months, she needed an oil change and called the dealer here in Fredericton to see if they would honor her oil change program from Ontario (free oil changes for 5 years or 120,000 KM). The dealer refused to honor the agreement from Ontario so I sent them an email and expressed my opinion that not honoring the agreement was short sighted as I would take her car to my mechanic and the dealership wouldnt see the vehicle for normal work (like brakes). The dealership called me back and left me a message that asked me to call them back to talk about the situation but the sales managers (Andy Goyette and Damir Kazic) were impossible to reach (always in meetings). I faxed the dealership a copy of the agreement and a copy of a receipt of an oil change done in Whitby but the dealership now wont return my calls. Ive tried calling several times and left several messages. I understand that they are busy and I understand that they may reject the oil change agreement from another province/dealership but I feel that they owe me the common courtesy of returning my calls. Both my mother-in-law and I are satisfied with our Elantras but I hope that Hyundais interest in me and my concerns doesnt stop as soon as I drive the newly purchased car off the lot! Awful experience at this location for a vehicle service. I called a month in advance and specifically booked at an appointment that I can stay there and way for my vehicle. At all other shops I have been to, this means your vehicle goes into the shop at the time of your arrival. Sometimes 30min to an hour later due to backlog. In my case, my car did not go in 3hrs after I arrived, then another hour for the service. After talking to front desk they tried to tell me there is no such thing as wait appointment where your car goes in right away. And to make things worse, a week later I went to another shop to take care of my car, since I was not going back to Hyundai and they told me my rotor screws are stripped, guess who took them off last, Fredericton Hyundai. Good job Hyundai, this isnt the first time you have disappointed me, but it will be last.

Fredericton Hyundai is one of my favourite places to look for a car. The staff are always so friendly and they go out of their way to help you as much as they can. One person in particular really stood out. My boyfriend and I love BJ Currie because of his infectious and down to earth personality! He makes the best social media posts too! We plan on going to BJ for our next car this August. We have heard so many good things about him and how he treats his customers. After meeting him, they were definitly right. Hes quick to get back to you if you have any questions! If you havent bought a car yet or you are planning on buying a car, we highly reccomend BJ Currie at Fredericton Hyundai! :)

Fredericton Hyundai...you are the best. 2 experiences with them. I referred a friend, she bought a car and I received a $100 referral cheque. Thank you. I then decided that I needed to upgrade as well. I ended up with an awesome 2016 Santa Fe XL, Everyone involved treated us with such respect. We purchased this car via FACETIME, a first for Fredericton Hyundai. LOL. Again Thank you and I will continue to refer family and friends to drop in to see you. Also, I would have no 2nd thoughts in purchasing from your dealership again. If you drop in to Fredericton Hyundai, ask for Wes. You will be impressed with his knowledge, friendliness and professionalism.

Dealership is fine but the service center is sub par. I have to go there for warranty work and thats the only time I do go as each of my ~10 visits has left me waiting for hours for simple procedures. Also, I had to tell them there was a significant recall on my car and they assured me there wasnt. 3 months later I received a letter telling me to bring my car in for that very recall that didnt "exist". The people are okay, but when I leave there I wish I had never bought a Hyundai or there was a different Hyundai place closer.
