I took my Volvo S60 because a brake pad was worn out. I came out of the dealership with a $2800 bill! The service manager there convinced me to change all four rotors, all four sets of brake pads, get an alignment, oil change, and change a hose (which alone was over $300 in labor). I called Midas the next day and gave them the entire list of things Volvo had done and their quote was less than $1500. That is, if I wanted the rotors changed. They said that rotors can be easily resurfaced at a fraction of the cost and dont often need replacement, especially considering my car had only 70K km on it. I am furious that the manager scared me by telling me how "unsafe" my car was and that "it would never pass a safety inspection", etc. etc. My car was in great shape except for the worn out brake pad. I dont mind getting all four sets of brake pads replaced, but not all the rotors too. And the hose looked almost like the mechanic had sliced it with a knife. Volvo Winnipeg charges a whopping $155/hr for labor. For $2800 they charged me for I could have bought a used car! Never ever going back to that dealership.

The parts guys never answer their phones and rarely returned my phone calls. Gave me wrong part numbers then ordered wrong parts for me which I had to wait forever for. When I had to drive their yet AGAIN, after constantly going back and forth wasting my time and gas for them to keep screwing things up, my parts were not there after I was called and told my right parts were finally there and being left up front only for them to be locked up in the back and no one there having access to them. So yet another trip and more gas wasted. Very poor service!!! Id give them 0 stars but option wont allow me to. Cannot email you for this to be resolved if you dont give me an email

Salespeople were not well informed and provided many false details about a variety of cars we looked it. It was clear they would just tell the customer what they wanted to hear - whether it was true or not. Listening was also not a strong point, we felt pressured in the direction of cars we had no intention of looking at, and were not a good fit for our needs.

Very Happy with the Great Service that Silvino gave us and the technicians that fixed our Volvo XC60. Gave us a loaner vehicle since we are from Grand Forks and it was a new XC90, which is smart on their behalf because it gave us a test drive and we were very impressed with it. Love our VOLVO and give one a test drive and you will be a believer.
