I purchased a high end remote car starter/alarm from the Visons on Pembina Hwy. I installed it myself and the unit worked well for a couple of years. I experienced an issue with the trunk lock (not the units fault), but at the time I suspected the brain was at fault. I went to Visions on Regent in Winnipeg, Manitoba and spoke with someone in the car audio area. My conversation was less than ideal as the salesperson advised me to contact the manufacturer directly. I asked for the contact number, and he would not provide it, but advised me to look it up on Google. Instead of any type of customer service, this odd little man began to preach that I should have invested in the extended warranty and had them do the install. (I saved over $700 by doing the work myself, so it really wasnt a huge loss to me). I reminded the guy that I was a customer and was glad I didnt invest in either the install or the extended warranty as I was unable to even get a phone number from them. I began to explain how they were ruining their chance of business in the future and how they suck at any type of after sale service. I learned a valuable lesson from that geek and have not/will not purchase anything from that location again. Heed my warning, in Winnipeg this location provided a lack of service of "epic fail" proportions.

My experience was a good one. I came in late, maybe 40 minutes to closing and asked for an exchange on a opened laptop. I did my homework and got a ticket number from the manufacturer and wiped my machine. It seems like it is very rare for people to get an exchange so it was a very complicated procedure so I thank them for helping me out near closing. This was a way better experience compared to when I first went to the Pembina store to ask for a exchange. Unlike Pembina, the staff on regent were very polite, respectful and professional. Thank you Brant for helping me out, you did a great job on a complicated request. I wanted to exchange for a better machine and Brant was very nice and double checked if the machine I wanted was indeed better. I did my homework and knew it was better, but it was still nice that he checked for me. The reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars was that I called Regent twice asking if they had the machine. They said yes but in actuality the one they had in stock had to go in for service or something along those lines so I had to pick up the new laptop from the Pembina store the next day. But id much rather give commission to the staff who helped me in Regent than dealing with the staff who "helped me" at Pembina. Again, thank you Brant!

Tyler Hawryluk helped us beyond anything that we could imagine. It all started in late April that we had ordered a hi-fi stereo for our wedding reception from Visions St James Winnipeg. After many phone calls and 5 weeks later we still were waiting. Each time we called we never got any definitive answers. So we decided to visit the regent location where I received a warm greeting from Tyler with some great enthusiasm. I told him our story and he was very straight to the point which I appreciated. He said that the stereo we ordered wasnt a great fit for what we needed. First thing I thought was oh great hes trying to get more money out of me but to my astonishment I was wrong. I first tried swaying him back to the stereo in question. Long story short, he called and couldnt get proper service and he ended up upgrading our stereo at no charge providing us with a better product. Since he was able to provide exceptional service at first point of contact, he has earned our business for future purchases and my respect for how he handled the situation.

We have been Visions customers for years and have always been happy... until now. The factory car stereo in my vehicle crashed so I went to Visions to purchase a replacement. First time I have purchased an aftermarket car stereo for years. Most of the car audio staff are defensive and rude. They are very aggressive and seem to hate questions. I would have walked out had it not been for Tim. To be honest, the store manager Nathan is great. Tim in car audio is very good. Stay away from the others in the car audio area. Darcy in install did a fantastic job. Top notch and very professional. When he called me with an install issue he explained things clearly and politely - the opposite of some of the store staff who are terse and quick tempered. I do love my new car audio system and was ok with the price. Installation was expensive and they really make you pay for install parts. No price match here!!! Had it not been for Tim and Darcy I would have given this store one star. Too bad. We did like Visions.

I wouldnt even give them 1 star but I had no choice. Fantastic service but only until they have your money spent almost $4000 and 7 weeks later still do not have the sub box we ordered. Troy was completely ignorant and outright lied to us when asked to speak to his manager my boyfriend was told he was already gone but when I called a second later the employee told me he would be available in 15mins if I wanted to call back sure enough not even 15mins later we were able to talk to him when speaking with Jason he also was ignorant completely disregarded our concerns and backed his employees rude behaviour stating he would of done the same on top of that he wouldnt do a damn thing to correct the issue basically told us to bad so sad and couldnt even say for sure when we would get the box. After all this we decided to just cut ties get our money back for the subs and box. Rude, ignorant crooks and liars!!! Commissioned staff is better then hourly employees BS.

!!!Never ever ever buy anything from this excuse for a store!!! They will screw you...maybe not the first time, but eventually you will get screwed. Drive the extra mile, or spend the extra little bit at a different store...Be forewarned!!! My story: Bought a car starter and install. When the scheduled install date came, I made arrangements with a co-worker to come pick me up and headed to the store to drop the car off. After speaking with the sales people (3 of them), they could not find my booking. After they all finished giving each other puzzled looks and whispering to each other they tell me that they "somehow" erased my booking from their sorry excuse for a schedule (a big binder with pages falling out all over)." can you come in some other time" they ask...at this point I demand a full refund and tell them they have screwed with me for the last time.I will NEVER go back.

Went to Visions to look for a Subwoofer for my home thetre . They have a good setup there as they have there all there advertised subwoofers on demo for you ready to use and test. Which i think is a good seller bcuz your testing the product before takin it home. That being said It musta took me about 40mins to decide which subwoofer to buy as i was trying them all and the stereo was lound so i knew how these subwoofers where gonna sound when i took one home. So I went with the Soundstage LF300 and watched Ghost in Shell and Hacksaw Ridge in Dolby Atmos and the subwoofer sounded phenomenal. The subwoofer stayed with it. You get that nice and tight bass from it and dont get that muddy bass. And when you play music with this badboy be prepared to get a knock on the door from the neighbor
