took car in there may 2013 was suppose to be 2 weeks to get back for hail damage claim. After 3 weeks pass i call im told 3days then im told another 3 days.After 6 weeks i get a call to come get my car. They painted over all the hail on my roof and u could see it with out even looking hard it was standing out like a sore thumb because they painted over it all.Also hood still had dents and then dust under the clear coat in many spots. i complained and was told "okay we will get u in soon" well after waiting 4 weeks i had my car inspected by mpi and they said the same i was complaining about and called the shop and said it needed to be done a.s.a.p So i get a call from jmax and was told bring car in at the end of week. I bring the car in and they ended up finding 23 dents they painted over i go to pick my car up but now there are like pin hole paint cracks on roof and hood.I complain again. Now they tell me sorry bring car back in a week so i do. I bring it in and they tell me it will all need to be repainted and will be 1 week. I wait 2 and a half weeks and call they tell me "oh yea your car is in the back,come get it" I get there and all paint cracks are still there and they tell me we polished the car and the paint cracks were there before. Thats bull because i have picture of before and after including my adjuster so now after they had my car for over 9 weeks total and this taking 6 months my car still not done properly and im dealing with mpi and they are having me sent somewhere else and will be billing jmax for this because this is horrible.

Ok.... friendly yes! Ok..... work was fair not unhappy with it... NOT OK....Just upset at the dishonest approach to the timeline.... Said the body work was going to be 10 business days (2 weeks) but it took 6 weeks!!!!!! They had it altogether and almost done then tell me a week later that the new bumper was damaged in shipping??? Made no sense at all!!! At least if you are going to lie then keep the story straight (Rick). Now my moms car went in there with just a slight dent in the front fender. ($1500 damage) they have to remove the fender hammer it out, paint and done! Dropped it off on a tuesday they said pick up on friday! It has now been 2 weeks they claim that it is the weather and they cant paint it due to the weather???? They will have had it for 3 weeks by the time they finish now. Oh and waiting for them to call you FORGET IT you need to keep calling them.

Great customer service, friendly and helpful. It took me 2 weeks to get an appointment for glass replacement which wasnt a big deal. Dropped it off told it would be ready that evening latest next morning. I wasnt able to pick it up until the following evening, not the end of the world but it being a company work vehicle it kind of screwed my day up not having it ready when expected. That being said they gave it a nice clean. All in all, still a good experience.

I have taken my vehicles to JMAX for autobody, service and maintenance for many years and Ive never received anything but prompt and professional service. These guys know cars and they know how to take care of their clients. Free loaner vehicles are a real bonus! They also have a great relationship with MPI and know the ins and outs of getting claims processed quickly. I recommend JMAX to anyone who needs car repair or maintenance in Winnipeg.

As a young adult, Ive never been in the situation to make an Autopac claim before. J Max guided me through the entire process making it quick and easy. After repainting the entire car, the results were unbelievable. It looks better now then when it left the factory. I took my vehicle in to be assessed for a MPI claim. With my work schedule it was getting tricky setting an appointment time but George actually called me back to offer the option of dropping it off in the evening after work, getting a courtesy vehicle and picking mine up the next evening. The process isnt done yet as everything just started but I must say, so far Im VERY impressed!!!

Excellent service from the first phone call. Friendly and helpful staff. I was informed that my car would not be ready for a couple weeks because I was dropping it off right before the Christmas holidays, but my car was ready after only one week. They cleaned it well inside and out. I was given a free courtesy car to use. Very happy with the work and service.

No appointment.... drove in, talked to Jon, and said that I possibly needed to replace my CV axle. After a road test, and a check on the hoist, he told me that the wheel bearings should be replaced. Replaced both with OEM parts, had lunch at The Garwood Grill, and 1 1/2 hr. later... Done... at 20% less than the dealer.

Driving across the country and needed an output shaft seal replaced. They were able to accommodate us immediately. They did a great job and was very fast. They eveb degreased the outside of our truck and trailer. Very happy. They have been around for 31 years and I can see why. Fast, friendly, and great service.

I was extremely impressed with their service. I was skeptical as this was a referral from Autopac. (A new way of getting estimates, bypass Autopac and go directly to service company) While there I got them to do a door harness on my truck, very reasonably priced, I am very impressed and will definitely go back.

These guys are the best. After MPI screwed up my claim J Max made it better. They even pushed my vehicle out of the snow when I got stuck in the yard. Excellent customer service. Its at the other end of town for me but I will always use them!
