I had a serpetine belt that shredded itself when on vacation in Manitoba. I went to the Chrysler dealer in Steinbach to have it repaired so that the parts and labor would be under the Chrysler warranty (as in they use mopar parts). I told them I thought there was an underlying problem that caused the belt to go and to make sure the rest of the system was working properly and that they would have the car for a week before I could come back to pick it up. The belt began to squeal again on the way home and we discovered that there had never been any analysis of the underlying problem, as there was still a faulty tensioner pulley causing the squealing. On top of that, the work wouldnt even be covered because they replaced the belt with a non-mopar part (even though the watermark all over their paperwork said mopar) Their excuse for this when we confronted them was because they didnt have one. They had a week to get one and didnt even bother. The Chrysler dealer in our hometown, the one in Steinbach, and the Chrysler company basically told us we would have to pay to have it replaced again and that nothing, the parts or the labor were under any warranty even though it had only been 2 weeks since the original work was done. All of this simply because the dealer in Steinbach was too lazy and incompetent to make sure that they put in the right part and ensure that the system was not damaged in any other way (which we asked them to do and paid for). If you want to pay for repairs multiple times, by all means go here. I find it very depressing that people have become so dishonest, incompetent, and irresponsible with their work. I will never be giving this place my business and I suggest you dont either.

Our 2013 Grand Caravan with less than 55000 kms had to have the rear brakes completely replaced due to a seized rear left caliper. The expensive, sorry, the extended warranty did not cover this as they said it was caused by lack of maintenance on my part. The service department shut me down real quick when I insisted that they honour the warranty. No deal ! I stopped them at $400 to have the problem fixed and they were not even done yet. Nope, not going to happen. I took the van to a trusted service provider and he informed me that the defective caliper was seized up and therefore useless. I had him repair the whole rear brake system for just over $700. New rear brakes with lifetime warranty. Moral of the story, do not waste $2000 on a Chrysler extended warranty, they will do everything they can to refuse you coverage. Last Chrysler product I will ever buy and I will tell this story to anyone who will listen. Just Google Grand Caravan brake issues and that should be all you need to run away from this van. The actual dealership service is not as bad as the product but the attitude I got when I pushed for coverage was disheartening. Too bad.

I bought a used charger from here and they safetied it for me and I was getting brand new all season tires put on, the hinge on my gas door was to be changed, I was getting a second key, and upon a better inspection when I got it home I put it on a lift and saw that there was JB weld on the tie rod on the drivers side. I then brought it to my trusted mechanic and I had it safetied and to it did not pass. I was given a set of used winter tires, the front rotor was cracked, and it had an aftermarket exhaust. so after another 8000 dollars just to meet safety, I was not impressed by the service at this place. Ive debated taking them to court but I have insufficient evidence that they pushed my car through but I can honestly say that will be the last time I ever buy a vehicle from Steinbach dodge. So I say to you if your buying from these thieves bring a lawyer so you get every thing youve agreed on in your Bill of sale.

They treat you as Gods as long as you are the one paying, when it comes to warranty they will get you... Customer service is poor. Brought my Vehicle in for AC fix, they leak tested it and refilled the system. Worked good for a few months and then it was back to no ac. AC was empty again. I brought it back they tested it again, found the leak, they thought. Then I was told that I would get a free refill once the problem was fixed, I couldnt afford the fix at the time. Once I did get it fixed and went in for the refill (the next summer) then I was told all the terms and conditions that needed to be meet. They had to do the fix, there were time-lines, had to be fixed a certain way, and so on... Last time I step foot in their shop. Terrible customer service when THEY make a mistake. There is no negotiating and no talking to any superiors.

I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AT STEINBACH DODGE. the price we were quoted for the truck, was WAY more when we went to the finance manager. We had to speak to the general manager to get that solved. The truck was on order, we phoned a few times with questions, they would say, we will check and phone you back, and they never phoned back. There is a very large sign in the dealership that says, free gift with every purchase of a new or used vehicle. I asked about the free gift, the salesman didnt know if I qualified, I said why not, the sign says with the purchase of a new vehicle. So I asked the manager, he said it depends on what the deal was when you bought the truck!! Really Steinbach Dodge, what a run around!!!! No free gift was the final answer. Not at all a good experience, would gladly speak to the owner of that business.

Booked my 2010 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY VAN for a recall and a 4 wheel alignment for January 13/2017 for 0800 the van was done at noon.i was told that the power steering return line was leaking which I new about and declined them fixing it and was told I had a seized caliper but could not tell me which one as they had not checked but went by the brake pedal going to the floor said thnks for your help paid the bill and left. Took my van to less repair in VITA MB, who is our mechanic and he repaired the power steering leak and checked and found NOTHING wrong with the brakes on the van. Which leads me to think that had I said go ahead and repair the brake problem what kind of bill I would have received from steinbach dodge. Beyond that I was happy with the alignment done and the recall repair in a timely matter

Bought my Ram truck 1 1/2 years ago there and referred my friend to them where she bough a vehicle. Made an appointment to bring it in for a final inspection before warranty was up but I had some work that needed to be done under warranty. The service Mgr made the appointment so I showed up to find they were asking for $29.95 for looking at the truck to do warranty work. I was then told for $120.00 they would go over it with a fine tooth comb. I drove an hour to get there from my home and they surprised me with the cost of the service when I arrived. Its not worth the trip to Steinbach. I called Eastern Chrysler in Winnipeg and they got me right in with no charge for the warranty work and inspection.
