I guess my mistake was bringing my non-GM vehicle to this dealership. As I left my autopac appointment from the building next door I saw the sign at the dealership that says "We fix all makes and models". I hoped for a quality fix. That isnt what I got. Dropping my car off with almost $6k in wildlife damage I knew it would take a bit. I left it at the dealership the last week of November. I never got it back until the third week of January. It was a long season without a second vehicle. I didnt look that close wrongly assuming it was repaired right. I had picked the car up at the end of the day and so a few miles down the highway when I started to look around the cabin of the car and noticed damages and broken glass I knew it was too late to return that day. I called the next day and asked them to look at it again. The interior door handle was badly mangled by a screwdriver it multiple places because they didnt know how it came off. The outside door handle only worked to open the door half the time and after using it twice a part of it fell off. There was glass in the cup holder, in the console and over the floor from the smashed out window. There was tape residue all over the door left from the plastic I had taped in place waiting for them to get parts. There was a screw from the door panel still on the passenger floor matt (with some glass) that never got put back in and made the door panel rattle. And the kicker was when the check engine light came on halfway home and since then the car has had a very hard time starting every subsequent time. The body shop agreed to take it back anytime at my convenience which encouraged me. I brought it back the following week (I live an hour north of Selkirk so this was not an everyday stop for me). They said they would fix it that day. Wrong. They looked over the car and vacuumed the glass off the floor and out of the cup holder. They put the screw back in and said it would take a few days to get a new door handle. So I took it home again. Two weeks later I called them. No door handle yet. Should be here soon. A week after that and the door handle arrives. I drop the car off again. It will be ready at the end of the day, Im told. I showed them the glass in the console they missed on the second vacuum. I showed them the door handle loose again. I showed the damaged door handle on the inside. And I told them the check engine light was still on. They called at the end of the day. Line up at the tech department meant an extra day. Long story short they had the car a week and a half. I got it back and noticed the light off, the glass vacuumed, the new interior door handle and tried the outside one and it worked. Perfect. But by the time I drove home the light was back on. And once the auto lock engaged the door handle went back to working intermittently again. So I called them. Twice. You guessed it. They dont answer and wont return my calls. Ive left messages asking what to do but they have gone unanswered. I wouldnt go back. Poor attention to detail (glass in the car still? After two vacuums? What else did they miss? And all these other problems) and being ignored make this a poor experience. I guess Ill have to go back to autopac and see if theres anything that can be done or get it fixed at a more reputable place and eat the difference. This just sucks.

Went in to Selkirk GM looking to possibly trade up my 2013 F150 for a new sierra loaded up with a few more options. Dealt With Mark Thornhill who was very friendly and professional, they were very upfront with everything and the manager Matt Walters was great to deal with and gave me a great fair market trade in value for my truck. Sadly despite their best efforts the truck I really wanted did not qualify for the necessary incentives to bring the price down enough to make a deal and although I asked about the possibility of pricing out another truck Mark said he would not want to make me compromise on the vehicle I really wanted just so they could make a sale. This made me feel like they really wanted me to be happy with my purchase long after the deal was done not just rush me into any truck they could find on their lot. So in the end I was not able to buy a truck their yet but will definitely be back when it comes time to upgrade my wifes car. Overall Highly recommend anyone wanting the best upfront no nonsense price and best trade in value to check them out they are great people to deal with! ****Update**** Last week I got a call from Selkirk GM asking if I was still looking to trade in my truck as it turned out I had since purchased a new 2015 Sierra SLT double cab last year elsewhere but my wife and I were interested in potentially trading up to a full Crew Cab. As I had a good experience last year when I went to look at new trucks (see above review) I came in and spoke with my salesperson Nancy who was excellent to deal with very friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy at all. She found me a beautiful red 2016 Sierra SLT crew cab Z71 with the long bed which I really wanted. I was again pleased with the upper management as well Matt Walters offered me a very fair trade in price without any need to haggle and was able to make me what I felt was a great deal on the new truck and at the end of the day I was able to trade up and I am very pleased with both the truck and the dealership, so initial sales has to get 5 stars! Will be servicing my truck there as well so I will keep an update on the after sales service as well, thanks again to Nancy hope to do business again soon:)

My family just purchased a new Sierra from Selkirk GM, we love the truck and our buying experience was great! Weve dealt with them in the past and had the same experience which is why we keep coming back. Joel Young was great to deal with, he took the time to get us into the truck which best suited our families needs. I felt comfortable with the whole process from start to finish, and Joel saw the deal through till I drove the truck off the showroom floor. He even promised to show me his secret honey hole, out on Big Windy where he routinely catches master angler Greenbacks. If youre looking for a truck I would recommend that you go see Joel at Selkirk Gm.

Great experience dealing with Selkirk GM! From searching for a vechile to purchasing to service work I have never been disappointed! Friendly staff and was one of the main reasons I will recommend anyone to Selkirk GM. I was personally greated by one of the sales managers ( I believe his name was Matt) and he took care of any questions or needs I had. One other employee who really stood out to me was a valet named Andreas, he was quick to bring my vechile in and it was spotless when he returned it to me! I will be recommending Selkirk GM to anyone interested in receiving great service from start to finish!
