My friend referred me to go here. I should have taken it as a bad sign when he drove there from Shilo for his scheduled appointment just to find out that his tires were not there and no one called him to reschedule. My day came for my appointment and I decided to call and see if my tires were in fact there. Fountain tire said yes so I went and after sitting there for roughly 40 minutes they told me only 3 tires were there. They were curdious enough to put on a fourth winter tire (different brand) as a loaner while I waited for the 4th tire to arrive which was supposed to be the next day. So after 4 days of me calling to see if my tire was in (twice they said they had all 4 there for me which was impossible since I had 3 on my vehicle already) I finally got the last tire. That is also when I figured out they had put normal air in the tires when I specifically asked for nitrogen. After all of that and them letting my vehicle sit outside finished for who knows how long without telling me but me noticing and going up to the desk it was finally over. The staff were nice enough but just very unhappy and disappointed with how this went and how they offered me nothing to compensate for the hassle of driving there back and forth, taking time off work and just waiting. Will not refer anyone I know to go there but I will strongly encourage anyone to go somewhere else. This may sound mean but I work very hard for my money and when I make a large purchase such as winter tires from a company I expect better service and things to be done properly.

My visits to the Fountain Tire are always very good. They are courteous , prompt and professional and I would be hard pressed to change where I do business. ( Unlike the unnamed terrible service across the street that I experienced ) .

Shop needs to learn how to torque lug nuts and not over torque to the point you cant remove a.tire. 200 ft pounds is a little much for a half ton with aluminum wheels
