Great customer service with Kal Tire in West Kelowna. We had winter tires put on our vehicle a few wks ago, and its pretty exceptional that on a snowy day the staff work long after the store closes to ensure that all the cars are tended to. Today I returned to have the tires retorqued. Ive been driving and having my vehicles serviced since 1988 and I have never had anyone tell me the importance of re-adjusting the nuts after a few hundred kilometers to ensure they are safely tight. The "torque tag" reminder card was helpful so we knew at what odometer reading we had to come back for a 2 min tire check for free. Matt greeted me when I pulled up, and gave me instructions to pull up outside one of the bays. He promptly returned to retorque my tires and answered any questions in a cheerful manner. As a business coach, one of the ways I help my clients is to help them improve their own customers experiences. I spoke to assistant manager Keith and complemented him and his staff on exceeding my expectations. Kal Tire is a great example of how little things - like a clean shop and a friendly greeting, can go a long way in creating trust. I give Kal Tire top marks for treating their customers well, and for implementing simple strategies like the reminder card to make their customers lives a bit easier when having their vehicle serviced. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Kal Tire in West Kelowna.

Last time I ever goto them, bought winters had them installed they told my wife we needed new brakes blah blah and wanted to charge $800 to replace them(clearly didnt do it), also we had to ask for our summers back which seems like an odd thing to have to do. Had them put the summers back on yesterday and my wife asked why they didnt mention the brakes this time and the guy said they were good....huh???.Anyway went to go out this morning and there was only 10psi left in one of my tires, I filled it took it back to them. They replaced the sensor then tried to charge me for it, didnt have issues all winter with pressure issues until they changed my tires yesterday and magically my sensor cracks which normally only happens when you hit the stems or bend them badly. In a wonderful 6 hours later my car is reading faulty tire sensor... I know they are bad mechanics and what they do do right in that regard is out sourced (lesson learned there 2 years ago in kelowna) but you think they would be good at a simple tire change over....Nope!! Guess they are hacks all around.

My TMPS sensor warning had come on on my Acura, so I made an impromptu stop into this Kal Tire location. The manager immediately came out; reset the sensors and confirmed which one was faulty. I was afraid that this would be a major repair that could only be completed by the dealer. He assured me it was an easy fix, sourced the part from another store, and had my car in and out in about an hour! I barely had time to enjoy my coffee at the Tims next door! The service was friendly, professional, quick and thorough. Thank you to the Kal Tire team at the Westbank store! And when we returned the car a few days later (as they requested) to check the torque on the wheel, the service tech attended to it right away...less than 5 minutes and we were on our way. Even the kids in the car commented on how nice the people at the store were :)

Service was outstanding. My van broke down over the long weekend while travelling with the family and I was able to get it to Kal Tire early on the holiday Monday. Not only were they able to fit me in, they were able to diagnose, get parts, repair and have me back on the road before 11:00am. They were upfront and honest and even came in almost $100 under what they quoted me. I would highly recommend this Kal Tire to anyone either in the area or just travelling through. If they werent 4+ hours away, they would be my every-occasion repair shop. They are also in a great location with food/shops and even a Best Western across the street if needed. 5/5 Stars. Vacation Saved.

Worst service from a Kal Tire, I have been a customer of Kal Tire for years, today this location lost a customer. A simple flat repair, I brought the tire in around noon, was told about 2 hours, returned 3 hours later, tire still sitting right where I left it. Was told about an hour, came back 2 hours later, tire still sitting in the lobby, was told "walk ins" are not a priority, maybe thy should look and see how much money someone has spent in their store before they piss them off. Took my tire to the Kal Tire on Industrial Road, about 20 minutes later I left with my tire. Westbank location lost a customer, West Kelowna location gained a customer

So they open in Westbank at 7:30, I pull in the parking lot, and a young fellow rushes out from the store, and asks me if he can help... Unbelievable! Since when does someone run across the lot to help you, offer you service? Not only does he know his stuff, but he assured me that my tires were okay, lots of life left, and fixed the slow leak, for free! Free, I have a receipt for $0.00. Lookout all you other tire stores, be humbled by the Customer Service Kings!

These guys shine. Recently I had some great work done there and it reminded me of 2 years earlier, driving home, late in the afternoon in a new vehicle. The van had about 25 Ks on it when some road shrapnel sliced a rear tire on a slushy Hwy 97. I called the Elk Road Kal Tire to say I’d have the vehicle towed there. The tow truck was late; well past Kal Tires usual closing time, but they waited because they knew I needed help.

I stopped in today because my pressure was reading was weird (super high on one and low on another) and I am so glad I did. The service I received was outstanding. Two gentlemen looked at my car (one was still training) and they were both knowledgable and talked me through the process and fixed the problem. I have used Kal Tire in the past but I will only come to this one going forward. Thank you!

Never going back!!! These guys tried to rip me off and my mechanic friend checked out my vehicle and told me I didnt need that work done so I trusted him. Two weeks later and my car is still performing great. So glad I had my friend check out my car after they gave me a huge quote for work that didnt need to be done. And its sad that I can not trust these guys.

I always come to Kaltire because I get really great service and they always go out of their way to get the work done as quickly as possible. They are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend them. Their prices are also the best that I found for tire changes.
