I had my 2004 Volkswagen Jetta diesel blow a transmission I took it in to them to get a quote on fixing it. They originally said it would cost 2500$ to fix it and I obliged they said there where multiple options for a new transmission. Once they had the transmission out they said it would be 5000$ to fix even with a used transmission installed I said no I wouldnt pay that and I would take it to a better shop that guaranteed that they could rebuild it for a guaranteed 2500$ labour included. Once I told them that I was taking it to another shop they said I owed them 800$ for labour for taking it out to look at it and then they put it back in the car. So now I had to pay the labour at the next transmission shop so I essentially payed 800$ for them to tell me something I already new. I was treated poorly and ripped off Unless you have 5000$ dont take your transmission here

Wow what a great guy. We showed up and he was closed but working on his own vehicle. He took the time to do a diagnostic check on our Xterra and reset our gages. On the road again in minutes with peice of mind. Restores the faith! Thank you AMMCO transmission guy.
