I was in Vernon from Kelowna and got a flat. Went to put on my spare but couldnt find me wheel lock key! Limped my car to Kal Tire and asked to borrow a wheel lock key. I spoke with a older gentleman named Doug who was very unhelpful and rude. When I explained my situation to him he promptly replied "Well Im not going to give you one and well have to order it in from out of town!". He seemed to Not Understand our situation whatsoever. I them spoke with Dany who was extremely helpful, when i explained my situation he went outside, knew the exact key I needed, which they had in stock! I went outside to change my tire as i didnt want to pay to have it changed over. I realized I didnt have the Proper tools for the key so i went inside to ask to borrow a socket. Dany then offered to bring my car in and change it for FREE. He brought it in for me, changed the tired AND moved the spare from the front to the back for better handling, checked tire pressures, torqued etc. I left the damaged tire with him to repair and pickup later. Turns out it wasnt repairable so he looked up warranty on it, priced my out options for replacement AND took the tire off the rim for me! All free of charge! I was going to leave a 3 or 4 star review but after Danys excellent service i just had to leave a 5 star. 10/10 would get a flat again

I was out in Vernon three years ago and my truck was hit. Two tires were flattened. I had it towed to this Kal Tire from my buddys, and they fixed the tires for FREE!! It sure brightened my otherwise crappy trip. THEN.... Just a couple of days ago I arrived back to spend time with friends only to discover I had picked up a nail on my trip out from Alberta. I took it into the same place, reminded them of their great service in the past and that I was happy to pay for the repair. Nope... The guy would have none of that! They fixed the tired AGAIN for free and apologized for having a second emergency trip there!!! WTF?? Seriously? I am out in Vernon fairly regularly throughout the year, and even with the BC tax I promise to buy my next set of tires there. Customer service like that is astounding. Hats off to you guys! Just wish I could find your FB page to pass on the Kudos there too.

Working in the industry I know that customer service is greatly appreciated when it comes to servicing your car. Dave the old guy behind the desk has the personality of a door knob. Walking into this store you feel like your wearing an invisibility cloak and Dave fails to even acknowledge your existence. Dave even failed to mention what was done on the car and when getting into the vehicle it feels like the car was parked outside and never even worked on. Its a shame that Kal Tire was started in Vernon as you would expect from its home base good service. Cheer up Dave I know your old but its no excuse to be terrible at your job. Wipe the dash over, shine the tires, put valve caps back on when filling the tires, air freshener, wipe the windows clean (these things take minutes and as a customer you notice this, rather than getting back into a car that feels like it hasnt even been worked on)

I love dealing with my local Kal Tire store. The staff are all really hard working people that work until the job is done. Ive been through the store many times over the years. Some of the staff recognize me. They even remember I was the guy that bought blue lug nuts to go with my blue Toyota Tacoma! Kal Tire is a tremendous corporate citizen in our community and the service is great. I recommend Kal Tire to all my friends and family.

Every time I go to Kal Tire I have a great experience. The team is wonderful and always hard working. My father and I were out in Vernon and his new car needed tires. They were an odd size and we couldnt find them anywhere else. They promised the price/deal and honoured it when we went to our local Kal Tire over 700km away. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing service on their vehicles.
