Took my car in to have an aftermarket HU installed. I brought my own HU, dash kit, and amp kit. Was charged $300 for the install, they disconnected the trip/mpg/dte function & said that it was tied into the stock Bose deck & couldnt be reactivated (wrong; a single wire simply had to be grounded), they messed and bent a couple plastic pieces on the dash kit & said that it was faulty (I was able to remove & install correctly in about 5 minutes, no fault with the kit) and my brand new tint was scratched when I got my car back (refused any sort of compensation/reimbursement saying they always roll down the windows over all cars while in the shop, but when we went back to the shop there was another car they were working on that was without its windows rolled down). Overall a negative experience. It might have been just my bad luck/bad day at the shop, but I cant recommend when such a simple job had so many faults.

A few years ago my dad had a deck installed in his truck by these guys. Today I took it out to put the stock stereo back in. The deck had a Mic that was installed in the head liner. When I went to remove it I found all the clips for the drivers side door column had been broken a glued back on. Also, there where holes drilled in the dash to put screws rather than taking a moments to figure out how to use the factory holes. The wiring job was terrible, all the wires pulled out of the butt connectors when I pulled the deck forward. So all in all I should have just done it myself.
