Update March 3 2016: Its been almost a year now since my visit and I STILL LOVE the work that the guys have put into my car! I tell you I am enjoying the tunes and they are sooo great going down the road. BUT I also wanted to let you folks know about what else Ive done with Ruben and his team. I decided a couple of months back to get an alarm for my car. Its a Honda Accord and we all know the dangers of driving a Honda in our fair city. I wanted some piece of mind that my car had some level of protection. Who else would I choose for help than the guys at SoundsGood? Ruben was able to make a recommendation or two and when I was ready, the guys went into action. I chose one of the CompuStar systems that met my needs and budget. I cannot tell you guys how happy I am with my security system! It is easy to use, has been very reliable, and provides me with a sense of protection that gives me some peace of mind. It is another layer security that works in conjunction with the factory system already included with my car. Installation took a few hours, so be forewarned. But when installation was done, my car looked great as if they never touched my car. Afterwards, they were able to give me a quick tutorial on how to use the alarm and all of its functions. I also know from past experience with SoundsGood that if I have any questions or problems, then all I need to do is contact them and they provide the support that I need instantly. Now that its been a couple of months of using the CompuStar security system, I can honestly say that I am one happy camper! There are no guarantees of course, but I do feel more confident that my car is protected. Once again, I have to say a big thank you to the SoundsGood team and to say to you out there, _trust_these_guys_. They have your back and they will give you the best service while meeting whatever needs or wants you might have for your beloved car. --- If you are looking for a great place to get advice and great service in all of your auto sound, security and installation needs then I highly recommend SoundsGood in Burnaby. I went in today, on recommendation from a friend, to look for a new stereo for my car. I am quite leery of big box stores and some of the other auto sound providers around town. Once entering the door, I was immediately greeted by the manager, Ruben and my whole experience there sky rocketed from that point forward. Ruben is very passionate at the advice he gives and he certainly is highly knowledgeable in all of the product that SoundsGood has to offer. Ruben is the most down to earth, friendly and no nonsense person to talk to. I only had to answer a few questions and Ruben without pretension, attitude or BS was able to give me some fantastic options for me to consider. (all within my budget!) There was no pressure placed upon me at all. I was also VERY happy with the pricing that was offered. This was one of my best experiences in purchasing anything for my car. Upon my purchase, it just so happened that there was a time slot open for immediate installation of my new deck. It took little time to install and the quality of the installation was professional and superior. The car was returned to me in perfect condition. There was even time for me to get a quick tutorial at my new purchase before leaving. Everything from start to finish was top notch! I am already planning to go back to SoundsGood for my next purchases from Ruben and his team. It is a real pleasure doing business at this establishment. Again, I HIGHLY recommend SoundsGood to anyone and everyone.

Over the years, I have had many of my cars done at SoundsGood Auto in Burnaby. Before they opened in Burnaby, I had my first vehicles audio setup (Pioneer AVIC-X920BT) installed at the Coquitlam location. I would rate their work 8/10 but their customer service was definitely lacking. When I heard their closer Burnaby location was opening up, I was very excited, as I had already purchased another car and was looking forward to getting my sound on! I have always dealt with Ruben, who is an exceptionally fair, honest, and well mannered individual. He will NEVER cheap out or lie about anything. He will not sell you a product you do not need. He has done three of my vehicles so far. In my first two, I purchased my own products off Craigslist and brought them to him. He informed me he is unable to warranty my products (obviously), but will warranty the work he has done (if anything fails due to wiring, etc). In my second vehicle, I brought in my convertible and put a generic box in the trunk. It did not sound very good, and he told me that it was due to the fact that the sub was not properly fitted for the box, and the box was also not properly specd for the trunk size, space, and shape. The staff at SoundsGood in Burnaby are very knowledgeable. My most recent work was done on my newly purchased vehicle. Because I was a returning customer and planned on doing a full high end setup, he was able to give me a slightly better deal on some of the products I purchased! At first I wanted the heavy pounding JL Audio 10W6 or 12W6 subwoofer, since I heard it in another vehicle in the past. He informed me that it would sound bad in my vehicle because of the small trunk size (another convertible) and that it would take a lot of money to make a custom box, due to the limited space in the trunk (the box would have to be entirely made of fiberglass). He managed to save me a lot of money by suggesting a different subwoofer, which I was skeptical of at first (since it was cheaper and not as powerful) but in the end, the product really delivered and I could not be happier with the sound. I wouldnt have even known it was a weaker subwoofer! All in all, I would DEFINITELY recommend SoundsGood Auto in Burnaby, and to look for Ruben. He will definitely do his best to suit your car audio and alarm needs in a fair manner!

This is my first time to SoundsGood Auto Services. I went to the Burnaby location because it was the closest to my home. I dont know which shop has the best installation job (Coquitlam or Burnaby). One day I decided to upgrade my speakers and put in couple amps as well install an alarm system. Even though I dont drive a fancy car I believe protecting my car is well worth the price. I looked around for alarm systems and speakers prior to dropping into SoundsGood Auto. I went to those big box stores and they had the common speakers. I want something with clarity and doesnt break my bank. Checked out SoundsGood website and looks like a good place to start. I went in there and was greeted by the store manager, Ruben, and he asked me some questions. After a few minutes he suggested a couple speakers to me. I was immediately sold with two sets of speakers and alarm and ready for installation. I went back to SoundsGood Auto few days later to have installation done. I brought my own amps to have them install for me. The entire installation for my car took an entire day because of few things going in my car. I was promised the car be ready by 6PM that evening but it wasnt ready yet. I guess they had to take care of the aftermarket light strips I put in. The techs had to rewire the LED lighting strips for me because I didnt do a good job. Anyway, the time they put into redoing the wiring charges back to me. I was ok with it because I know the tech will do a better work than me. SoundsGood Auto installation prices is a bit on the high side; but the installers do excellent quality work. I looked at my amps wiring and theyre neatly zipped tied and bundle up. You guys did an amazing job with my car...everything looks stock and thats what I wanted. Pre-sale customer service and tech installation work are excellent. Ruben replies back to email within a short time so communication is very good. I just hope post-sale customer service is just and good and friendly. In the future if I need to change my deck I know where to go first.
