Long term corporate emerald club member. Horrible location, rent elsewhere. Took forever to find my reservation. Forgot to give my ID and credit card back. Since I was in a rush as I am now running late because of their delay, I didnt not realize this until later when I was already on a ferry to Vancouver Island. They had all my information and did not even bother calling to let me know. I could not get a hold of them at all and had to pass a message through their call centre. Worst customer service. I will be in touch with our HR to advise them to seek another rental car company that provides basic customer service for our company.

The National Car Rental service at the Vancouver BC airport left a lot to be desired. We got off the ship and there were many travelers getting cars; there were three rental companies represented, and only two agents for National. The other agents didnt have many customers. Travelers kept interrupting the agents to ask if there was another agent for confirmed National cars but there wasnt. We were in line over an hour which is totally unlike any other time I have gotten a car from National. I am used to walking right past the counter and picking a car out from the lot. Cheryl Shewach

I was not happy when I got too counter and the compact car, I reserved wasnt ready. I was upgraded for no extra charge, and the car I got was awesome on gas. I travelled over 400 kms and only filled 15.00 in gas! When I woke the next day, I was running late and had 10 minutes to return car (impossible), but I called and they gave me an extra 45 mins. No extra charge, easy too find and great location for skytrains! I was able too zip home. I will be back!!

Hard to find. No signage on the street level. Drive into the under ground parking on the right side of the Pan Pacific hotel. Enter the public parking. You will have to take a parking ticket from the machine. Once you descend to the 2nd level you will then see the National signage.

If there were a 0 star option this is when I would definitely use it. They never answer the phones EVER. So if you try and call to reach them you can kiss that goodbye. Save yourself the trouble and book with another car company
