I called several times and the owner promise to call me back but never does. I had to go in person to request the reservation. I thought everything was done. I arrived on the day of my picked at 9:00am as told. The owner did not come in until 9:30am, and advised me that the car would not be ready until 11:30am. I was very disappointed. I ended up wasting my mornning. After getting the car, I was told I could only drive 300 km a day, and everything after would be 0.30/km!! I had to leave. I told the guy I was driving to Seattle. I ended up going to Budget down street which only had a Volvo, which cost me $700 for 3 days. Horrible experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM

If I could give this place a zero I would. We booked our car months ahead and we had to wait for over one hour because the cars were at another location. We missed our ferry as a result and had to wait two hours for the next ferry. They marked our car as being scratch free however it had a number of scratches and we had to again go up and spend time sorting it out. There is only one attendant and she is not the nicest to deal with. We booked an SUV and got the crappiest one on the market, it was dirty and not cleaned properly. Drop off was pretty much the same thing- you basically do the work for them to repark the car so that they only have to hire on grumpy staff.

Reserved a car in advance through Expedia. When we showed up, we waited 15 minutes for the attendant to finish with a customer only to find out that they didnt have a car for us. No solution was provided or suggested. We expected much more from Hertz. We were left wandering on the street trying to find a car at the last minute to make it to an important meeting. We wont use Hertz again.

Lady at front desk was helpful and efficient. Our Expedia booking went smoothly. Price was as expected - of course insurance makes it more expensive than original online quotes but there were two options with different deductibles. Car was excellent, brand new! Great service here (and at airport for drop off). Staff even helped with our bags.

We booked a chrysler-type car for $25 a day, and got a Mazda for $116. So yeah sure, theres always hidden taxes and charges but that was a bummer. I guess the clerk woman was nice enough though and the pickup/dropoff was smooth.

The girl at the front desk was very attentive and trying to do her beat despite her clear trouble with technology. Just bear in mind to not come over to this branch of youre in a hurry! They left me at front desk for 1 HOUR!!

Terrible. Tonnes of hidden fees. Cost more than double what I was quoted online. They do NOT HAVE WINTER TIRES or chains so if you are planning a trip to WHISTLER or any of the surrounding mountains AVOID HERTZ.
