HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience. I recently purchased a 2004 BMW from GI Motors. Was told that it was mechanically sound as evidenced by their recent servicing. Car checked out on CarProof and all previous owners repair bills were provided. I declined the warranty because after taxes it was $2000 for 3yrs/35000kms. As I drive on average 40000kms a year, at the time this was not an ideal service for me. Within 3 days of purchase, both the check engine and battery lights were illuminated. Now yes, they did agree to fix these problems on the condition that I agree that anything occurring afterwards would be my problem. I thought, fine, what else could go wrong with a vehicle that was purportedly mechanically sound?. Within 3 days after getting the car back, the check engine and coolant lights are now illuminated. Due to all the snow of late, of the 12 days that I have owned the car, I have driven 3 days for a total of 200kms. Between too much snow and it always needing repairs, this has been a total waste of $11000+. I emailed them why woeful tale and never received a response. Instead I am taking my car to Nixon Automotive to do a proper repair job and inspection. Sure I opted not to buy a warranty, but who the hell expects this many problems within 2 weeks a vehicle purchase. DO NOT EVER deal with Granville Island Motors or its parent company PS Motors. You were warned!

My mechanic recommended this Auto Centre. He told me that Granville Island Auto Centre specialized in well-cared for vehicles with low kilometres. I have traded three vehicles with Phil and bought three vehicles from him. I have also had my vehicles tuned up with them. They are the most honest, trustworthy group of people around. If youre looking for a next to new car - this is the place to go. Cant say enough about them! Their mechanic Sam is the best in the business! Unfortunately we live on the East Coast now - but I would drive to Vancouver if ever looking for another car!

Purchasing a car is daunting. Buying a pre-loved one is difficult at best! However, from the moment we arrived to look at the Audi A4 Quattro convertible to taking it out for a test drive to reviewing the service records to visiting with Sam we knew that this was the car for us! Sam is sincere and honest. Not pushy like you may find with others. He went over and above to assist us and having the car detailed. I highly recommend them as their cars are very well maintained and serviced. You wont be disappointed!!

I was very pleased with the service that I received. Even after we negotiated a price they still put new tires on the car because we were going to be driving through the mountains to get home.
