Every time I think Ive been shocked by how bad or questionable a company is - they still manage to hit another low. EVO rental cars dont tell you but if you rent a car up til 36 minutes for a one way journey your credit card is billed 0.41/minute. Borrow that car 37-59 minutes and youre billed $14.99/hour. Oh and they dont detail anything on their in-iPhone app-only charge listing other than day with time start/end. They dont email you any invoice info. Thats how it is. Any inconvenience that occurs which free time is promised isnt automatically applied - happened twice. Expect cars to be unopenable even if app reserved (happened three times) that if they are able to borrowed, more often than not expect them found with garbage/barf in them (happened three times), parking tickets from others and unreported exterior damage that you know if you dont report theyll blame you for (almost every rental thus far had unlabeled/unreported scratches). And the kicker? Theyre system is insecure. They use info anyone with your wallet can see to access their service. Sigh. I asked for something more secure (pin!?) however when I called later the same basic info (minus pin) was requested.

I love EVO car . Use it all the time . 2 things tho 1. daily rate =200kms but calculated per trip not per day like car2go so if I keep a car for two days or three - kms ad dup and you pay double even if only less than 200 per day 2. home zones keep expanding and with zones in surry and maple ridge and such areas I would never need anything but EVO and its cheaper than owning a car most times.. (especially if you park on the street or in a building and have to pay exorbitant parking fees) The convenience is awesome! fix those two things and 5 stars all the time!!

Cars are nice, roomy, bike racks are a big plus. However, their system is inconvenient. Lack of parking spaces outside of the downtown core make finding a suitable place to park these cars far less than ideal. Regularly, the app doesnt register when you end a trip and leave the car, leaving your rental running until you get a call from the call center. Fees associated with this error with their app start at $50. Dont park in areas where street parking turns into a driving lane (i.e. no parking 7am-9:30) your car will likely not be rented by another person for 72 hours.

Franchise CA $ 1,000 for a single hook, apparently with repairs costing $ 2150 CA ... Abused, to flee, for the price they redid all car finishes ... Focus car2go, only CA $ 250 deductible, much more reasonable and honest ...

The cars are nice but the app is horribly unrelabile in terms of both booking trips and ending them. The issue with the unteliability of the app will come to bite you because unlike their competitors there is no warning if a trip isnt ended properly instead you will find yourself charged 50 dollars for leaving the car unsecured. The whole experience has me questioning wherher Id want to continue using this service, the app and the way trips are ended definitely needs revision

BE AWARE!!! In case of accident, theyre a scam!!! I used Evo for one year now and I had a very small accident, scratches and dents on the two right doors. But they used my accident to fix the entire car, roof, mirrors and much more, so the bill was 3,821$ and of course they charged me the 1,000$ deductible!! Its a shame to do that and treat customer like that. Car2go has a 250$ deductible policy!! NEVER USE EVO ANYMORE!!

BUYER BEWARE, THEY OFFER ONLY A $1,000.00 DEDUCTIBLE ON THEIR SERVICES. My daughter got cutoff and scraped the side of the car and we received a $1,000 bill. CarToGo has only $250 deductible, we are cancelling our Evo membership and going exclusively with CarToGo.

please .expand out to surrey bc its a pain in the ass always having to catch the skytrain out ot metrotown to get the car then drive back then having to drive the car back to metrotown and drop it off other then that I love the cars better then the other ones

convenient and easy to use. The cars have some nice features like a rear-view camera and heated seats. With it snowing in Vancouver the last couple of days, they have handled snowy driving way better than I had expected. Great customer service too.

I had trouble parking at Capilano University so I called customer service using the EVO Help button in the car and they assisted me and refunded me the time it took to find a space. Great cars, great customer service. Thanks EVO!

Great cars, great features (bike racks, 5 seats, roomie, most of them have back cameras and sunroofs, etc.) and great customer service. They are cheaper than car2go and are more and more available. Extremely happy with them :)

Always a great place to park Evo when going to a game downtown, reserved spots off Beatty entrance. And tons of overflow parking on L2 and up, enter off Cambie St..
