We recently bought a car at Budget Car Sales in Marpole. They were friendly, knowledgable, and got us a fair price on the vehicle we wanted - in our budget! I would recommend this dealership to anyone because since all the cars on their lot are in excellent shape you will be safe with whatever you chose. We kind of wandered onto their lot (you are supposed to make an appointment) and they were easygoing and welcoming from the start. We dealt with Mani Arora and Shawn Jamieson, both straightforward and no-nonsense. They were extra-communicative with phone calls etc, which *can* be helpful, but when we told them this was going to be a long slow process on our babys schedule they totally got it and cooled off - they are both family men so they understood our situation. The other dealerships we went to were very pushy in comparison. Budget has 1st pick of ex-lease cars, so when Mani said "we dont have any bad cars here", I believed him. We took the car we were interested in to our independent mechanic, and he raved about the amazing condition the car was in, inside, outside and especially under the hood. This really put us at ease that we were not going to get stuck with a lemon, no matter which car we chose, and it helped us plan a realistic budget since we knew there would be no hidden surprises. Mani showed us some other cars in our budget and car class but I think he knew right away which one was right for us although he never pushed it. He knew a lot about the different cars and features which helped us make our choice. When it came time to talk price (the scary part, lets face it) Shawn really listened to our needs and respected our financial situation, not like other dealerships that kept trying to up-sell us to something we couldnt really afford. In short, I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a used car! Especially Mani and Shawn. Thanks guys!

I have to say i dont ever write these reviews but i am happy to read them when doing my homework on a product or service. Well, this is one review i am really happy to be writing. My wife and i recently bought a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country from Shawn Jamieson at the Budget Car Sales location at the foot of Granville and Marine Drive, right beside the Arthur Lang Bridge in Vancouver. I have to say upfront i hate buying cars. I just find the process painful. It is the last thing i want to do. Shawn Jamieson was such a professional, he put the old stereotype of a used car salesman to shame. I like dealing with people who are truthful, do what they say and say what they do kind of people. This is Shawn. We were taken care of from the moment we spoke on the phone initially to when we inspected the car, took it for a road test, went through the purchase process, extended warranty process, insurance. They made it as painless as possible. In fact, i really have no interest in going somewhere else. I am telling my friends they need to call Shawn when looking for a car. Which is the greatest compliment i can give someone, because the referral will reflect on me. I like salesman that know what they are talking about. Sean is a veteran with extensive knowledge of cars which we found very helpful. Shawn and the whole team are great and my wife and i were extremely happy with the car we got, the service provided and the price we paid. What more could we have asked for? When you need your next car, give Shawn a call. Youll be happy you did.

After our car broke down on us, my wife and I phoned Budget Car Sales and spoke to Jerry Pineda to find out about purchasing a new car. Since we were unable to get to the lot the same night, he told us that we should have a look at the website and see what we like before we went there. So, we browse the site and narrow down our options and met with Jerry the next day. We were totally impressed with the service we received from him. We were a bit earlier for our scheduled meeting, which was not a problem for Jerry though he was with another customer. He told us that we can have a look at the cars on the lot and so we did. To our amazement, we were not pressured by Jerry or other sales persons at Budget Car Sales. It is always a great experience for us to go shopping without someone trying to pressure you into buying something. After narrowing down to a few, we told Jerry and he help us make a decision (again without trying to sell us something else that we did not want). He told us about the cars and suggested what he thinks might be the best for our family. We chose a car and then we meet another wonderful person at Budget Car Sales, Tim Tucker. Tim is the kind of guy that would make purchasing a car stress free. We sat in his office and he worked his magic, while providing some entertainment (at no additional cost). We got our car for a comfortable monthly payment which surprisingly included a 5 year warranty on the car. BONUS!!!! I would recommend Jerry at Budget Car Sales to anyone looking to purchase a car. The guys there are AWESOME!!!

My partner and I purchased a vehicle at Budget Car Sales. While their customer service was great while we were purchasing the vehicle, the follow up service was less than desired. During our purchase our sales representative informed us that our vehicle came with keyless entry. Following the purchase, when he supplied us with our keys, we asked for the keyless fob. He told us he could not locate it but we would be sent the fob and an additional key. After a month, I followed up with them only to find out that they were not going to supply us with the fob because it does not come with the car. I reminded the sales representative of the promise that the car came with keyless entry he said that the service manager said that "its simple there is only the key". I asked to speak with the manager and advised him of the issue, he said well "I dont know what to tell you, if you got a promise you should have got it in writing in the service agreement. I was appalled, I did not think it was necessary to get KEYS written into a car agreement. Seems like something that should come with the territory. I would not recommend this organization to anyone purchasing a vehicle, and if you do... get EVERYTHING in writing. They will not provide any of the services that they claim.

If youre looking to buy a new car your search for a dealership stops here. THERE IS NO OTHER DEALERSHIP IN THE GVRD THAT WILL EVEN COME CLOSE TO BUDGET CAR SALES! Ive owned 9 cars in my life and have never had an experience as professional and for lack of a better term AMAZING as Ive had with budget. My credit is less than stellar to say the least and after visiting 4 car dealers previous to budget Im thanking my lucky stars I went to them. Both Tim and Greg take all of the fear and worry out of the whole car buying experience and without me having to do anything, ask for anything or negotiate anything; they put me in a new 2013 Fusion, got me an interest rate substantially lower than everyone else was able to, added a 5 year warranty at no extra cost and without me even asking for it Tim offered to meet again in a couple years after my credit gets better to refinance the car at an even better rate. In a world full of "car sales snakes" budget car sales takes all of that garbage out of the picture and provides the best possible solution to buying a new car. Thank you Tim, Greg and everyone else at Budget theres no other place ill be going in the future when it comes to purchasing a car. Youre the best! Jared
