Well, as much as Im happy with my 2017 Escape purchase...Im not so pleased as how it took so long for my original tires (roughly 1 month) to arrive when I was told that I was to be given brand new tires and rims since the original owner apparently sold them. I was left on the back burner from the Sales Department on this one basically being given the run a round. Then when they finally arrived...they were NOT new and were scuffed and slightly damaged as they were apparently from the original owner. Hmmm...how could that be when I was told they were sold a month ago... OK I can deal with that since I was told AGAIN that they would be refinished to be PERFECT LOOKING. Nope...that didnt happen either. I ended up paying for my own refinishing on all 4 rims at another dealership. Ive purchased 3 vehicles over the years with my latest being my 2017 Escape. I buy all the Pre-paid Ford Service Maintenance Packages, extended warranties and have it all serviced here so I do pay for things at this dealership that definitely bumps up the cost and Im sure helps in Brown Bros Fords bottom line. Love the service department but me being given the run around concerning my tire replacement with me eventually just giving up and taking my issue somewhere else pretty much left a bad taste in my mouth. Im now looking to buy another vehicle for my wife as I buy all my vehicles on the spot with no need for financing. I think Brown Bros Ford lost a potential sale for my 4th vehicle or any other future vehicle. All I ask is for is CUSTOMER RESPECT, not being TAKEN FOR GRANTED without being given the run a round and BS that Im getting this and that etc...when in fact Im not getting a new product that what I was told or a service that was to be provided for a perfect looking product which never happened. Please just tell the truth so that I can deal with it head on.

The staff is courteous, professional sounding, and friendly. My first visit for my Fiesta ST was great. I had an HVAC issue and the team took their time to get the job done right. They tried multiple solutions and kept me in the loop. My second visit was less satisfying. It was for the simplest routine service (an oil change and inspect), and I made an appointment a week in advance. I had a couple of other concerns I wanted them to look at; a "wrench" light was lit on the dash (potential engine issue or just a service reminder per the manual), and a drivability concern that required a quick test drive and diagnostic. I included this large preface to explain why the team didnt get a perfect rating from me. My appointment was for 1 (I actually dropped off the car at 12:30), and the latest I could come back to pick up the car was 5. They warned me that if there was an issue with the car outside the routine service (wrench light, drivability issue), I may have to leave the car over night - in this case it was the Canada Day long weekend. I accepted this. I received a call around 3:30 with my advisor telling me they wouldnt have time to service my car, and Id have to leave the car over the long weekend even though the wrench light was just a service reminder and they couldnt diagnose any driveability issues. I questioned what they had been doing for the 2.5 hours since I dropped off my car and strongly urged him to get the simple oil change done. To make a long story short, I didnt appreciate them expecting me to accept leaving my car over the weekend when I knew the job they had to do was simple and definitely did not require 4 hours. Further, because I demanded they do the job so late in the day right before a long weekend, I have thoughts that the job was done hastily and without proper care - leaving me with little peace of mind.

I would give this negative reviews if I could but thats not an option. I usually dont like to bash businesses but I have give them this horrible review for the way the service department and their management handled my complaint. I dropped off a van to get fixed and I took them over 10 days to get it back to me.. I was given an excuse that they were understaffed. Apparently a dealership that size only had 1 diesel technician working. They should have had technicians working overtime to get cars our outsource the work to another dealership or simply Dont book in jobs when you only have one diesel mechanic. When I asked to compensated in some form for the downtime. I was offered a oil change by Chris Shoreman. After stating that I lost over $5K worth of business he simply said that my business is not appreciated since I dont spend enough money at their service department and he cant do much and I can take my business elsewhere if I am not happy with their compensation. I took this issue further with the management and even tried to contact Tim Brown on more than one occasion but he doesnt care to respond. The sales manager Ezra wasnt much help either. I currently hold 5 leases from BB Motor Lease. Since 2013 have leased a total of 10 vehicles from them at a commercial rate of 8%. With each vehicle being over 50K, they have made enough money off me to provide me with good service. If they dont consider a customer who has purchased over 10 vehicles from them in the course of 4 years then they wont appreciate yours either. Youre better off going to Dams Ford or Hallmark Ford, they have much better service than BB Ford. The only reason I went to BB Ford was because they were close to my residence and I didnt want to trek all the way to Surrey but I guess thats where I will be taking my vehicles from now on.

Purchased a newer vehicle from Brown Brother Ford earlier this year. Called on a vehicle they posted online. when discussing price with the salesman over the phone he said $1000 off was max they could do (that was fine) AND the truck was local and had been purchased from them and they have all prior service records. Once I got to the dealership 1 hr drive later I find that it was not purchased from them and they have NO service records and that there was NO way they could take $1000 off the price. I had to deal with a different salesguy as the one I spoke on the phone was unavailable. Having to haggle like crazy with the salesguy over $250 on the $35,000 price after Id already been told $1000 off was accepted, was absolutely crazy! If it wasnt for the fact that the truck was exactly what Id been looking for Id have told them all to have a nice day and left. I ended up doing the deal as I wanted that truck and after being frazzled with such a lousy experience I left and forgot a binder of all the prior papers (inspection report etc) so I called to ask them to mail or fax to me rather than drive another 1hr there and 1 hr home. After 6!! requests to the salesperson for the records I still dont have them!! I basically gave up. I wont even bother mentioning all the other stuff I had to deal with and other promises not fulfilled. All I will say about this place is if you do decide to buy from them, do yourself a favour and be absolutely sure you get EVERYTHING in writing and get EVERYTHING they promise you BEFORE you sign on the dotted line and definitely BEFORE you pay them. I would have thought the days of bad car salesman and shoddy service would be a thing of the past by now but I was wrong...too bad for me and anyone else dealing with them.
