We made an unexpected stop in Merritt today when we popped a tire coming over the Coquihalla Connector. We were 5 km short of the Kal Tire when we couldnt get any closer without driving on the rims. We phoned and Matt answered - he gave us the number for the local BCAA so we could call the tow truck faster than calling the national line. When we gave him a call back 10 min later to say that we had the tow truck and would be on their site in 15, he said no problem. When we showed up, they were friendly and waiting - they headed straight out and took a look at the car. They were able to find another tire to replace ours, and the mechanic was great - Im sad not to remember his name. They were efficient, treated us well, and made sure that we got the best service and deal possible. All in all, a frustrating travel experience was really made much easier and less stressful by the team at this Kal Tire. I would absolutely come back (although hopefully not under the same circumstances). Their service today was top notch.

Received terrible service today. Had called in yesterday and was told I could leave the car and have tires on rims changed. Went in before 9 am and management was complaining about having to stay late and car might get done. Took keys back and went to a shop down the street rather than tolerate customer shaming at the local store. Would recommend going to Kamloops Kal Tire or one of the other shops in town.

On our way back to Calgary, an 8 hours drive, we had an unexpected flat just near Merritt at 5am in the morning. Thank God for Kal Tire as they opened on time at 7:30am. Service was prompt, professional and friendly. What more can you ask for? They had hot coffee and there was Olympic on TV, popcorn included. Price was reasonable. In about 40 minutes, we are off. Well done folks. And thanks.

Words cannot describe how greatful we are for these people. They are amazing. We ran into some bad luck and popped both our back tires and couldnt get home. They not only fixed both quickly but picked us up from our hotel and drove us back( we forgot the keys the first time! ) honest amazing people I could not say thank you enough. I will be telling everyone about your amazing service!!!

Thanks so much to the guys at Kal Tire in Merritt. We needed a quick fix on our car and 2 other dealerships couldnt help us . These guys did and didnt even charge us. You saved our trip! It was supposed to be a temporary fix but when I took the car in to the dealership at home they said it was such a good job they didnt need to touch it. Thanks again. Youre awesome!
