Pros: Fellow at the front counter was friendly. Cons: Was not acknowledged for several minutes after entering the shop. I could overhear the shop staff discussing personal stories with the counter staff. They had a look at my vehicle and determined it needed a whole new axel. Was charged for diagnostic time which is fine. Quote to fix was 3500 - 4000. Took the vehicle to the dealership after suspecting they had misdiagnosed. They correctly diagnosed the issue however it was a $100 part and 2 hours of shop time to make the repair. A new drive axel was not needed. Bill from dealership $400. I have no doubt that these guys know tires well but I am now reluctant to trust them on other issues. I hope this was just a simple one time mistake

Just came here to say thanks again. Arrived at KalTire about 4 minutes to closing on Sat. Man (didnt get name) agreed to patch my removed tire and then (what I wasnt expecting) put the patched tire back on and installed the spare back under my truck, staying after closing. He didnt know this but if I hadnt got that tire patched I would have had to make another (expensive) ferry trip from Cortes Island and in the meantime would have been carrying heavy loads with that old (kind of sketchy) spare on my truck. Thanks to everyone else who helped out there as well.

I have been dealing with Kal Tire for over 40 years. 15 years of that owning a small fleet of 5 hwy tractors. They have always had good quality in tires along with good service. Just this week I purchased a new set of light truck tires and had the brake on our car worked on at Kal Tire Campbell River and I think I was treated better than when I owned the trucks. It would be hard for me to go any where else. Bill Mills

I have enjoyed the service staff every time I have been to Kal Tire in Campbell River. They are always patient and kind and listen with interest while you discuss your problem. Service is fast and efficient and reasonably priced. I will keep going there!

The staff were friendly and helpfull. We boughtb4 tires and a wheel alignment. The job was finished within the predicted time of two hours. The gentleman finally took us out to the finished car and completely described all of our warranty entitlements.
