Let me just say, "this isnt my first time at the Rodeo" and I have bought 45 to 50 personal vehicles in my life (own 5 right now). Late July 2014 my wife told me that we were in the market for a reliable used car for her (happy wife... happy life). I spent 4 nights checking out ALL the used cars on ALL the dealers lots in town (this is when pushy car salesmen are at home). I narrowed my "wish list" to 10 cars in the price range I wanted. Returning home late the last evening (prepared to buy one of these cars the next day), I stopped by Auto King Motors and wandered through his lot to see two great cars my wife would like, at very reasonable prices. The next day I returned to meet the owner/salesman Dean King. He impressed me as being down to earth and trustworthy so I decided to take out a beautiful Nissan Maxima (no accidents) that he had just maintained and safety inspected next door at Willow Point OK Tire (very reputable mechanics). Dean Kings asking price was 20% below what any other dealer in town would have expected. The car was a great deal at his recently reduced price (I would have paid him the "original" asking price... the car looked and drove that nice). With the successful test drive/inspection over we retired to his office to talk. Sincerely, he asked "what would make you happy?". Respectfully, I placed an envelope full of cash (a fair offer) in the center of his desk saying "at this time the amount which I am offering (I specified) is my best offer and includes the tax". I anticipated one of two probable responses; one, hed make a counter offer or two, hed take my cash and shake my hand to seal the deal. Dean King, unlike any other car dealer Ive known, gave me HIS option #3. He said "I know what Ive got into this car, and you know how much Ive paid to bring it up to safety standards (earlier he showed me the substantial maintenance bill), so heres what Ill do... Ill accept your cash offer, and Ill give you back $200". Yes, you heard me right; he had cash on the table... his for the taking (and I would have been VERY happy) and he didnt grab it, or ask for more, he gave me a "more that fair" deal! Dont expect what HE did, at any other dealerships anytime soon. Will I make Dean King my first stop for my next vehicle? Heck Yeah! Id even be OK with my wife or daughter dealing with Dean "on their own". By the way, the Maxima still drives and runs like a dream one month and one summer vacation later. I know vehicles, and I would take Dean Kings Maxima from Campbell River to Halifax and back (15,000 km) tomorrow without any fear of breakdowns. This car is the best vehicle for the price I have ever bought; add to that, Dean King is the best and most reputable car dealer (with great value cars) that I have ever dealt with... hands down! I went to Deans dealership with hesitation as I have been burned badly from used dealerships before. I discussed with him what I was looking for and the price range that I was in. He was honest with me and the no bull motto was so true. I walked away with a very nice car and was very satisfied with my purchase. Then my nightmare began to come true as in the past with other dealerships. The car that I had purchased six months before began having mechanical issues. I went to him with full expectations of re-living my poor experience before. Dean went a head and did everything for me, looked for parts and labour and everything was priced lower than at any of the mechanics shops I went to. He went above and beyond what I was expecting. I have never left a dealership or car lot feeling so relieved and driving a reliable car once more. If you have ever been burned by a car lot or dealership dont worry about this one. I have never been so satisfied with a purchase. I drive by now and honk a couple times " Thanks Dean, your the man!"

I bought my car from Dean 3 weeks ago and am extremely happy with it. The vehicle is in great condition and I paid a very reasonable price for it. Dean had done all the background checks on it so I knew it hadnt had any major accidents or bangs, and hed also fixed the brakes that needed attention. He had priced the car realistically- the price tag was what induced me to stop in- taking away the usual pain of having to bargain for hours. In my experience Dean stuck by his motto of selling good cars at decent prices, and was straight up, honest and pleasant to deal with. I recommend buying a car from Auto King Motors.

l purchased a used car from Dean and felt he went out of his way to make sure l was happy. Months later l received a follow up call to see if l was still happy with the deal. l am.There has been no surprises with this car,and it,s nice to know l feel everything he told me was the truth. You can never know everything about a used car but they have been more then fair with me.l good place to get a good deal.
