I purchased a "Toyota certified" used Corolla from Squamish Toyota in November 2015. In the first two months and 2,500 km of driving, it has been to the Toyota dealership local to me in Vancouver no less than five times for $2,000 (and counting) worth of repairs under the powertrain warranty, another $100 of repairs not covered by the warranty, $950 in non-warranty-covered repairs recommended, and now that the transmission is fussing, who knows how many more thousands of dollars of hopefully covered repairs. The repairs thus far have run the gamut from the drivebelt to major engine (oil) and water pump (coolant) leaks, the latter of which my independent mechanic commented would have been obvious during the alleged inspection and reconditioning of the vehicle. I have been firm but polite with the dealership, first the Sales Manager, then the Dealer Principal, about the issues I have experienced, and after-sales service has been non-existent. Ive basically been told that its a good thing that I have a powertrain warranty and that this is the first time this has ever happened to them, ever, and that Ive had quite the streak of bad luck. The Dealer Principal promised to at least reimburse me for the drivebelt not covered by the powertrain warranty as well as to "see what else I can do for you," but its a good thing I havent held my breath waiting for the cheque and the follow-up. Toyota Canada also couldnt care less when I apprised them of the situation. I spent what I feel to be a premium on this vehicle in order to purchase a fully reconditioned, mechanically sound vehicle with the Toyota brand standing behind it. I might as well have bought a mystery clunker from a used car lot on Kingsway somewhere. Take my advice and bring your business elsewhere. Oh, and if you see a Corolla around town with the "SQUAMISH TOYOTA" licence plate frame modified with the added words "SOLD ME A LEMON", or if you happen to be sitting next to me in a Toyota service department, feel free to ask me more about my experience in person.

My wife and I have purchased a number of Toyotas from Richard Loomer and when he moved to Squamish Toyota, we followed and purchased our first Camry Hybrid, almost 3 years ago. Future purchases will also be through Richard as he keeps us up-to-date with all that is happening in the Toyota world and always takes time to talk with us when we are there. He is trustworthy and attentive to our every need. Though we live in South Surrey, we drive to Squamish Toyota for all of our servicing needs, as well, as we have found the service department to be exceptionally efficient both in the shop and at the desk. Most recently, we met, for the first time, Robert Tao, Assistant Service Manager and found him to be an excellent representative for the dealership: friendly, professional, thorough, and responsive to questions and concerns. We have always kept to the suggested maintenance schedule and the mechanics have performed well, which speaks highly of the training and care the whole of Squamish Toyota owners and employees offer their customers. A drive from South Surrey to Squamish is never a hardship given the quality of this dealership.

I purchased a new Tacoma, the sales person Richard was great, friendly, professional and quick! Was able to purchase the car in 20 minutes and could pick it up the next day! On the other hand the service and parts department (3 gentleman) are as rude and unfriendly as possible, my front license plate cover (from Toyota sqamish) was damaged after the first maintenance check , I kindly ask the the Service Gentleman if he could fix that for me and he looked at me and gave me 2 new license plate covers, so I could do it myself! Great service Guys, thats what you expect after purchasing a new car! 2000 KM later 3 screws of the plastic lower tire fender (mud screen) come off, I came back to the service department to fix it which they did at first than 2 days later the the 3 screws came off again because the screws used were the wrong size so I got told! Friendliness and Professionalism is not the strengths of the Squamish Service & Parts Department ! So I went to Jim Pattison for the remaining Maintenance Appointments they are great and helpful!

It has been an incredible journey for me sourcing a new car after my honda gave up on me. Being a huge supporter of the Honda brand I finally got swayed due to their sales manager Richard. Richard truly understood what I was looking for and for what purpose, He was very professional, knowledgeable but most of all comforting while talking to me about vehicles and options. At no time he spoke ill of the competition. He gave me the time needed for me to make a decision but that was not necessary as I was so convinced with what Richard told me that i decided to skip the trip to the city to check out a Honda. Toyaota Squamish should be proud to have Richard as part of the sales team. Looking forward to getting my new vehicle tomorrow.

My experience shopping for a used vehicle was great. I dealt with Richard Loomer and Ken Stephenson and both were excellent, clearly striving to be helpful and accommodating. I felt they listened to what I was looking for and were up front with the pros and cons of each option, Richard even showed me some recent trade-ins that were not yet detailed and put in their used inventory as they were in line with what I was looking for. Ken was very diligent when I came to test drive a couple vehicles, having them ready and fully answering all my questions. I would absolutely recommend Squamish Toyota for a new or used vehicle purchase!

I bought my car here and recently got it serviced. The staff were all extremely friendly and knowledgeable and Shawn answered all my questions clearly. My servicing process was also super fast and easy. I went to go have lunch and Jacob from service team was amazing and came to pick me up and shuttle me back to the dealership. I live in Vancouver, but I always make the drive up for the excellent service.

I have been taking my RAV4 in for service since Squamish Toyota opened. They have always been excellent with the service. I really appreciate the shuttle service. In this last service the extra service provided make each experience excellent. When my RAV4 came off lease I bought it through the business services manager. He was efficient and effective at arranging the paper work for the transfer.

Visited this location several times when looking for a new vehicle and was always disappointed with the lack of interest in my business. Hard to find knowledgeable staff to talk with but when I did, they were juggling 2-3 other customers at the same time so answers were short, basic and unhelpful. Love Toyota cars but this place so bought a Honda.

I was at Squamish Toyota with Rob last Saturday. I was greeted with the vehicle that I am interested parking at the front of the show room. The purchase of the vehicle was smooth and with zero pressure. Rob even arranged to have the old car driven back to Vancouver home for me. Highly recommended for this dealer.

I had to take recently my car to theToyota Squamish service center for a usual maintenance service. The representative Richard was pushy and I am not convinced even today that it was necessary to replace all the parts that he has replaced. I will not use this centre in the future to service my car.
