I had a small (maybe that of two or three eraser heads together) chip on my windshield which I went in to get filled (from my insurance) stating clearly that I didnt want it to turn into a crack as I couldnt afford to replace the windshield. The man who I was dealing with, the manager, said he understood and agreed that it could become worse by leaving it. After about 20 minutes he came back and said "it didnt go well, it cracked when we tried to do it". He then went on to say, nonchalantly, this could sometimes happen and that now itd be a windshield replacement, there was nothing they could do. To my surprise and displeasure, there was a 12inch crack going up my windshield, in the direction of my line of sight. My poor rating comes from the fact that he at no point informed me that turning the very small chip into a sizeable crack was a possibility. Had he said that, I wouldnt have had them attempt it. I was getting it filled to avoid a crack and increase longevity, because I couldnt pay to replace the windshield, which he knew. He should have warned me of potential poor outcomes. I had no idea. He also didnt seem too bothered/apologetic by the fact that my situation had been made much worse. Now a free (covered by ICBC) minor repair has turned into an inevitable out of pocket $200 windshield replacement. Not impressed with the service, or the customer service. EDIT: the manager called me and wanted to rectify the situation. The situation was resolved appropriately however I feel it was my extra actions and calls afterwards that lead to that. Amended rating of 3 stars.

I have an older car so putting an investment into a power window is no easy decision. The guys were very helpful, friendly and honest in giving me a quick quote and an idea of how long the job would take. They new what they were doing, it was a perfect fix and the job was done quicker than I expected. I would highly recommend Speedy Glass in Squamish to anyone in the future looking to replace a window for there car.
