Rude ignorant manager!!! Ive used this shop a couple times now but would be hard pressed to use them again. My latest experience was a simple tire change over from winters to summers. I dropped a set of wheel and rims off on a weekend for them to change the tires in advance so it would be a quick easy swap over. I waited 3 days and hadnt heard anything so I called the shop to check if they had a chance to do the tire change over. The fellow on the phone told me yes they have, I guess someone forgot to call me? Any way no big deal right, so I asked when I could come in. I was told to come at 3pm and theyd get me in right away. No problem, I showed up a 3pm to a very rude manager who told me sorry hes too busy and looked at me with a dumb stare and shrugged his shoulders. This rubbed me the wrong way only because I planned my day around this to be there. When I was asked what I wanted to do, I told them I wanted my tires installed and he responded with attitude and did not seem to understand the value of good customer service. He blew me off and told me to come back in an hour and hed try to squeeze me in. In the end they did get it done but the manager was very rude, didnt seem to have any regard for my time what so ever and begrudgingly squeezed me in at the end of the day. There are plenty of other tire shops around and this one wont be getting any of my hard earned dollars anymore.

Everything was awesome, really exceeded my expectations. However, a month later (service done on April 7,2014) on May 7,2014, I decided to check my tire pressure before driving to Vancouver and was SHOCKED! Shop wrote on my "hanging mirror card" that fronts were filled to 41 psi, and backs were 36 psi. Was hurt to discover that my drivers side front was inflated to 51 psi. Id already driven over 1000 kms on them. Tires came with a warranty for 70,000 kms. I verified my alignment at my mechanics shop, it was perfect. Id last done them in December 2013, and he only charged me $20 for I believed the alignment to be fine, but was checking so that Id not do any unnecessary wear that would conflict my tire warranty. I truly hope this will not result in any problem due to this oversight on their part. Other than this mistake, my experience with Squamishs Kal Tire was very positive. T Osman

helpful front desk guys but very poor service by the mechanics, failed to balance the wheels i purchased from them correctly after several tries.. in the end had to return, they scratched up my original wheels putting them back on, I complained to head office and they agreed to get them reconditioned at their cost without any argument which I appreciated. Happy with the repairs to all 4 wheels but it took 2 full weeks (more the repair shops fault rather than Kaltire, but no car for 2 weeks). Just had car back from VW service telling me ALL 4 WHEELS were incorrectly balanced, with incorrect weights in the wrong places and would cause excessive tire wear fairly quickly, $90 to VW to re-balance all 4... Well done Kaltire Squamish, you really messed this up.. I wont be going back ever and Id suggest anyone who cares how their car is treated doesnt either.

Manager/sales guy was great, but the tech working on my truck was pretty rude and not knowledgeable. When you change tires from what came stock on the truck the little door sill placard becomes irrelevant. No, you do not run 32psi on an E rated tire. Not sure why I had to explain this to a tire technician? I was hauling a load and they deflated all my tires to 32psi. They looked flat. The repair they did also didnt fix the flat there was an actual puncture in the tire not just a slightly leaky valve stem. I woke up the next day 10km down a logging road with a completely flat tire and then had to reinflate and limp it back to squamish to get them to fix it again.

Terrible service and rude people! I ordered set of tire Wednesday and got scheduled Saturday for installation. I got there Saturday only to be told that there was no delivery that day! I was so disappointed and mad because I had to cancel some appointment that day just to have my tires done. To make the situation worse I didnt even get any apology whatsoever. Dont ever make any business with this branch. Terrible!

Dropped in to Squamish Kal Tire with no appointment and was helped immediately! Earlier this year I purchased two new tires, trying to put some air in my tires I realized that the valve was not accessible or visible. Kal Tire corrected the problem immediately and free of cost. The staff at Kal Tire in Squamish are always polite and do their best to serve every customer in a timely fashion. I am a loyal customer and will continue to be. I can trust the staff to know what tires will work best for my vehicle and the road conditions I can encounter in the Sea to Sky.

These guys are so great. The shop is always very busy but they always find time if you need their service. Today they saved me $700 to replace my fancy, paint-matched rim and did the repair for free. I see a large gift basket in their near future. Ill never go anywhere else.

Everyone I spoke with was really friendly. The tires I ordered arrive on time, the change in tires took the time I was given. The staff even called me shortly after I was gone to let me know about something I forgot in the waiting room. Thank you guys!
