First time in this location and was blown away by the complete lack of people/customer service skills from an employee working behind the counter. The service counter is long, probably 50, with two employees working on the phones at either end, a cashier standing in the middle doing nothing, two other employees coming in and out of parts area behind the desk, and one guy looking over some paperwork. I walked up and stood in front of him for a good minute before he acknowledged my presence and then mumbled that someone would help me. When I asked why he couldnt help me he said, "Im busy." At no time did this douche nozzle make any attempt to help me or find somebody who could. I walked out and went to the competition at NAPA where a guy on the phone taking an order paused for a moment to yell for someone to come out and help me. That will be my last time in a Lordco. This guy, in this reporters opinion, is in need of some serious training in servicing customers - or a position where he isnt allowed near anyone in the public.

Weve all killed at least one car battery in our lifetime, well yesterday one of my employees did such a thing to one of our buses as it was on job. Thankfully, the passengers were busy at the time and unaware, but we needed to get the bus up and running as quickly as possible! We called Lordco in Sidney (the bus was in Sidney) and they told us to have the driver come by and they would assist him. This is what he had to say about his experience with the staff, "...and said he could help me, so he went to the back and picked out a battery. I guess when he saw the anguished look on my face - I was expecting one of those starter kits - he went to the back and asked a young fellow to put the battery in a car and take it to the bus for me which he did very cheerfully." Thank you to the staff at Lordco Sidney for their quick help and friendly disposition!

They sell crap parts which do not work, Then they tell you dont have a warranty for the said crap parts. My Jeep had three different ECM auto computers installed by Jeff at Driftwood Auto Centre on Pender Island. Not one of them worked right. Lordco informed I dont have a warranty. A $700.00 + part and no warranty. This company stinks. I think Jeff still buys their crap because its cheap crap. Cheap crap that doesnt work and has no warranty. I will never again purchase anything electrical from this outfit.

I phoned the store to inquire about a battery for my new car. The salesperson was aggressive, snarky and unpleasant. Even though the battery I needed was in stock, and the price competitive, I decided that I would go elsewhere. I was really put off by the salesperson. I received a totally different response at Peninsula Brake and Tire- the person I spoke to there was pleasant and helpful. Hence, they got my business. Simple as that.

The battery in my wifes car died on her in the parking lot across the street while she was with our two young kids and her mother. She went to Sidney Lordco to see if they could help. One of the sales people went out of his way to test the battery and then replace it for her. She was in a very stressful position and they helped her by going above and beyond the call of duty to help. Big thanks to the team at Sidney Lordco!

Staff are friendly and extremely helpful when looking up parts. Prices are reasonable and their stock is usually good. This would have been a 5-star review but parts have gotten lost in shipping on my orders a couple of times.
