A Walker

I went to Kaltire in Salmon Arm to get my winter tires on my vehicle. The first gentleman was very nice when dealing with me. I asked him to check my one tire for a leak as I had just purchased these tires through Kalitre last season and they had told me when I went to put the winters back on they would check at the same time for a leak as I had lost air pressure 4 times last season. The gentleman confirmed they would check the tire for me. When my car was finished I was called up to the desk to go over the service. This man basically told me to sign, without even saying hi, that I would have to retorque my wheels after 50 kms. I signed for this man. Then I asked him if they had checked the tire for my air leak. He spat out at me that his name was not on the paper and it wasnt addressed on the service order so it wasnt his fault if it didnt get done. I said to him calmly that they all work together as a team and I would like to know if the tire was checked. He told me that he could put the vehicle back in but it would take all day. (This is after I waited an hour already for the changeover, which is expected) I asked him if he could just go check with the other guy if it was done. He huffed and puffed and went to the back. He came up to the front and said yes it was checked and everything is fine. I asked if I lost pressure again if I could come in and get it checked again and he looked at me like I was stupid and said "ahhhh yeahhhh" I said thanks very much and left. Got in my car and drove not even down the street and my low pressure light came on. Went to the shell station and put air in all 4 tires as Kaltire didnt put air in them at all. One was at 20, 27, 35 and 31. I could only assume the tire was never checked as well. I was a single girl driving to the coast for a funeral as wanted to make sure i was good to go to the coast. Thanks for making sure Im safe Kaltire Salmon Arm! Also thanks to my super friendly service jerk that treated me like I was a royal pain. This guys was completely rude and ignorant to me. Maybe he should refrain from customer service. I did not ask for anything out of the ordinary and I did pay 2300 for my winter tires and rims. The least they could do is check and make sure my car is safe to travel and no leaks in the tires. I will never go there again and I will make sure I tell everyone my experience at this store. Believe me, Ive started and other people seem to have bad experiences there too. DADS, dont let your daughters go there if you want them safe on the road. There was a leak in my tire. The tire wasnt placed on the rim properly when they initially were bought from Kaltire. I went to Fountain Tire and told them what had happened and they fixed it for me. Thanks Fountain Tire! Ive learnt my lesson and will buy from you next time guaranteed.

I had a sidewall blowout on one of my tires, I drop the tire off with Blair at the front desk and left it with him for the day. Very pleased that they were open until 6pm as I worked until 5:30. When I got there Blair had a new tire on my rims and the paperwork all done for me so I was in and out. Great service from Kal tire everytime I have been there. From putting rims and tires on my lifted trucks, helping my girlfriend with a flat tire, to replacing my trailer tires, I will always return to them and refer all my friends to them. Thanks a lot Blair and the team that makes all the gears turn.

These guys really helped me out a few years back. We were on a family road trip and stopped for gas at at station very near to them. When leaving the station we drive over a broken engine valve that was in the lot. Air was escaping fast. We limped the mini van over to Kal Tire only to discover it was about 10 minutes to closing. The fellow at the desk said not too worry and looked after it. When it was done there was no charge. They are a class act for sure. Looking forward to giving them my business when we move up there this summer!

This my first time dealing with Kal tire in Salmon Arm. I had a great experience from the first call to find out what tires would be best. Very friendly and informed personnel. They were very friendly and helpful an the day of service and had the work done in the time they said they would. Pricing for tires was very good as well. I would strongly suggest using Kal Tire in Salmon Arm.

Had a flat on trip from Kamloops to Calgary where I was due for an appointment I couldnt miss. Pull into Kal Tire in Salmon Arm 0800. Young fellow Derrick graciously helped me out and got me back on the road by 0830 without costing me an arm and a leg. I am now a Kal Tire customer for good.

Amazing service!!! We got a flat at our campground and checked in at fountain tire and Canadian Tire which quoted 2 hrs and 4 hours respectively. Kal Tire quoted an hour and was super friendly and didnt charge us for fixing the flat !

Staff are always great in store and on the phone. They seem to receive tires from other locations quickly but often forget to call and inform as they promise they will. How ever looking forward to continue to do business with them.
