I took my car to Simoes Automotive in Victoria BC, for extended warranty and non warranty work. The staff were friendly, attentive, and did what was needed without oversell. The staff staff got to work in an efficient, timely, competent manner. They seem to have good quality control and nothing was forgotten. They worked fast, but not so fast that sloppy mistakes are made. They have sufficient staffing levels to take care of their work. Jason is very personable and takes the time to show customers the nature of the problems, not just talk about them quickly and casually. All the staff there seem to take their time to ensure quality control and do the job correctly the first time. It would make a bad impression to just rush through things and have things break down prematurely, like some other auto shops in Greater Victoria. I saw various staff still at the shop slightly after closing time to take care of some late straggler clients. That is a sign of pride and dedication that seems to be lacking in most industries today.

The first time I took my car there, I said it had a squeaking sound, well the guys found a multitude of items wrong, worn out wheel bearings, ball joints, rear brakes and rotors etc, I needed the car back the same day so the guys went all out and fixed all my issues even stayed late to get it done and only charged for an extra 30 min, when I went to collect and pay for all the work I was amazed at how little it cost considering how much I had spent on a front brake job at a well known franchise just 2 months prior. Second visit was for a squeaking sound and vibration on speeding up and slowing down, well the guys found the issues again it just needed a tweak here and there, inspected the tires and wheels, couple of road tests all fixed and this time it was free of charge. Best service in town

Best auto guys around in my opinion. These guys go above and beyond in the costumer service area as well as mechanical. I am very grateful that I was able to find a mechanic that is HONEST and you just know that you are being told accurate information with competitive pricing (although I would have paid more to these guys). First time to Simoes Auto and the experience was top notch. All the staff I met were personable, helpful, and knowledgable. The work was done quickly and prices were better than fair. I was quoted $5500 at another shop and for the same job Simoes charged under $3700. The work appears to be fully compete and with quality care. I will be a permanent fixture at Simoes from now on.
