Long story short I had something fixed on my car for 650$. They told me to come and pick up my car. As I got in my car the check engine light turned on and my car was shaking due to the motor. I was thinking well this will go away those guys told me my car was fixed. 4 blocks down my car feels like its gonna die in the meddle of the road. So I stop to the closest garage to call them. They tell me to get my car towed back to them. So I was thinking why should I trust these guys again. I got my car looked at by somebody else different garage. They fixed my car plus they told me the job I just had done wasnt done properly... Good thing Im not desperate with my money situation I took it pretty calmly. Never have they try to find a way to cover my towing or anything I was left with a car problem a 650$ bill and stuck in the traffic with an obvious problem with my car. I would rather get screwed big time by a dealership than going back to those incompetent.

My experience at Rand Automotive was PHENOMENAL. My parents were visiting me when we discovered their tire was completely flat. The next morning, my dad and I pulled into Rand looking for a quick fix so that they could make their long drive home. The staff were super friendly and pleasant despite how busy they were, and asked us to come back in 30. When my dad and I arrived, not only was the tire repaired, but the car was being washed. When my dad pulled out his wallet to settle up, we were told not not to worry and all they ask is that we spread the word. A car wash, the friendliest service you could ask for and tire repair free of charge all in under half an hour.. RAND AUTOMOTIVE, KEEP DOING WHAT YOURE DOING, customer service does not get any better than this.

I have been a customer of Rand Automotive for approximately 23 years. Over these years, myself and my family ( we have several cars) have received excellent customer service and quality mechanical services. Most recently, Rand Auto performed a diesel injection service on our 2010 VW Golf TDI wagon. The results were dramatic as the car now runs smoother, has no lag under acceleration and seems to have more power overall. I fully expect that I will also see an increase in fuel mileage ( of course that make take awhile to find out as I only need to fill up every three weeks- gotta love those VW diesels!). Nice to know I can take my nearly new VW to Rand for all of its service requirements instead of the dealer.

I spend more time selecting a mechanic than I do any other professional service. With this in mind, even my expectations were exceeded on my first ever visit to Rand Automotive. I was there to swap out summer tires for snows, an oil change and a visual on a potential problem a gas station inspection thought I might have. Good news was it was not an immediate problem and I had no immediate problems. My last mechanic I loved and tried to find me a recommendation in Victoria but couldnt. Just gave me things to check up on. I did. Rand came out on top. Cream rises.

I have lived in a few different areas in the world and gone to a number of auto mechanics and I would like to say that Rand Automotive really "takes the cake". I have never experienced such service where I felt like I was THEE priority in an auto shop. My wife and I were preparing for a long trip that would take us 3000 kms in 8 days and wanted to take our van. Gerry and his team went out of there way to get me in at a reasonable time and gave the van the TLC it needed at great prices. I will be referring Rand Automotive to everyone I know for future business.

This company is simply the best as far as automotive shops. I know nothing about cars, yet I never feel spoken down to. They are professional and personable, and they literally went out of their way to help me out. When the problem turned out to be covered by warranty at the dealership they handled the scheduling with the dealership and everything. So impressed! Will be my go-to business for car problems for the for-see-able future!

The customer service is excellent! The front desk team is very welcoming and it was fun driving the courtesy Smart Car while my car was in the shop! Even though my car is under warranty, I brought it in to have it checked over before my lease was up to see if they could find anything of concern. Always good to have a second opinion especially from someone you really trust! Love that the car comes back completely clean and vacumed.

I was thoroughly impressed with my first trip to Rand. They called to confirm the repair price of a door lock I asked them to look at, I agreed to their quote over the phone and when I picked up the car the bill for that repair was much less because it wasnt has difficult as they thought it might be! Nice to be looked at as a long term customer on the first visit! And the fact the car was well cleaned was icing on the cake.

I brought my vehicle into Rand auto service for a leak I discovered on my transmission. After inspecting the vehicle the informed me that my power train was still under warranty on my Mazda CX9. I then took my vehicle to dealership to make repair at no cost to me. There honesty and good service saved me hundreds of dollars I plan to use them for any other servicing I require in the future.

Rand Automotive lacks the special knowledge required for my VW EOS. The service advisor installed zap straps to my folding convertible roof which caused it to leak. Rand would not offset the repair costs done at a VW dealer -excuse used was that the owner was away on holidays. One of the service advisors was very rude to me and the service manager made no attempt to set things right.

Great experience all around! Had a safety issue with my tire, and they fixed the issue right away, didnt even need an appointment. Then in my actual appointment, they addressed everything I asked them to do, and addressed some things to look out for the next time. Car runs great! Really happy with the work and services provided by Rand. Definitely will be back.

What automotive shop would take the time to help someone troubleshoot a problem over the phone? Only Rand. Not only did the guy I spoke with (wish I got his name) help me diagnose the problem but I had my truck started within 10 minutes of getting off the phone and I was no longer stranded. Seriously guys, thanks so much! Lifelong customer for sure.

I installed some steering parts and when to another shop that was close by and they tried twice and could not give me a correct alignment for my truck. Rand assessed right away that a few other parts were needed and fixed me up right away quick and at a reasonable cost. That you to you Team!!!
