I purchased my Nokian tires from Kal Tire (UNFORTUNATELY THEY ARE THE ONLY TIRE STORE WHO SELL NOKIAN) two months ago and got a nail in one of my tires yesterday. I was at the Douglas St Starbucks drive through across from Mayfair Mall so I thought I would give Kal Tire a call to see if they could fix my tire. The lady who answered the phone assured me that if I got there by 0930 they would be able to fix the flat. Ten minutes later I was at the front counter being told I would have to leave my car with them for most of the day!!!!!! I explained what I had been told over the phone and the guy at the counter simply repeated the same thing. I said forget it and drove to INTEGRA TIRE WHERE TROY LOOKED AFTER ME IMMEDIATELY. Less then 40 min after showing up at INTEGRA TIRE I was on the road again. FREE FLAT REPAIRS AT KAL TIRE...? SURE, IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE YOUR CAR ALL DAY. WHAT A SALES PITCH. IF YOU WANT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERY TIME, SEE TROY AT INTEGRA TIRE. I had to give Kal Tire a star so I could post this but even 1 star is overrated. Kal Tire will never see either of our cars again, I would rather pay the $25 to get my flat repaired then have to deal with Kal Tire again.

6 monthsago I discussed tire needs and made an appointment to have new tires installed. Had to make arrangements to get time off work and someone to pick me up/drop me off from the shop. Arrived early for appointment to be told they didnt order the tires that I wanted (even though I was assured the were ordered when I booked the appointment). Got a sales pitch to put a different set of tires on. Went with it because it was going to be difficult to make arrangements for another day. Later told by my mechanic these were not a great tire choice. Today I showed up at 7:40 a.m. with an emergency. Had a screw in my tire and air was leaking. I was told I had to leave my car all day because they put appointments first. Went to my mechanic instead...had my car on the lift in 2 minutes and job done. Twice deeply disappointed with Victoria Kal Tire services! If I could, Id give a negative star rating.

The Kal Tire team at 2882 Douglas st, is beyond honest. I brought my vehicle in fully expecting to have the back two tires replaced (due to a slow leak in one of them). Ravi called me to tell me it wasnt necessary. I had a nail in my tire and it just needed to be fixed, they then did a tire rotation and alignment! They saved me approximately $250-ish!! I made the appointment on Tuesday and the ordered my tires in for me, that played no part in their decision and they didnt even charge me the delivery fee for the tires that they specifically got in for me. As if that wasnt enough, they put a carnation in my car with little note, photo included (nothing weird). Literally no awkward man flirting, just kind guys who saved me money. I strongly suggest this Kal Tire (Ive never been to the others). Thanks again Ravi and team! You guys are the absolute best ever!!

I am from out of town and had a flat tire, I took my tire off the car and my sister drove me to Kal Tire (time was 3:30). The man at the desk said he didnt have any used tires so I asked about 4 new ones(129.95 ea). I agreed to the price and asked him when they could change them, his response was 6 pm, thats a 2 1/2 hr wait and they close at 6. Im being generous by giving 1 star because I cant post this without it. His demeanor told me he didnt want my business. I went to Big O Tire on Quadra St, they replaced my tire and I was heading back to my car in 10 minutes and they were very busy at that time of day. Friendly professional people, Gold Star Service. All my tires WILL be purchased from Big O Tires from now on.

I recently had car troubles that I believed to be my tires but turned out to be much more. Even before I found out it wasnt actually my tires the service associate had 2 guys working on my car so I could get to work on time. Then once I I found out my car was still in bad shape, they went above and beyond to make sure I got to work, and even did their best to try and diagnose the problem with my car, which they didnt need to do at all. Nobody likes having car troubles, and these guys made my day as best as it could have been in the moment and I am so grateful. It is so nice to be reminded of what great customer service is, I will gladly take my car back and tell anyone I know to go there! Thank you guys again!

The first time I visited this location, I was not entirely happy with the experience and I brought this up with corporate customer service. I received a prompt reply the next day and a callback from the manager, to my surprise, and from that onward, I have been well taken care of. The manager went above and beyond to provide exceptional service to me. I was given great advices and ended up buying a set of tires suitable to my budget and needs. When I went to pick up my car, I even see a flower and a card on the passenger seat. This is unheard of in this competitive marketplace, and Kaltire has just earned a lifelong promoter. I have no issue recommending Kaltire to everyone I know.

Dec 4 2015 My husband noticed that his tire on his truck was going low quickly... being close to your tire shop and Kal-Tire has such a GOOD reputation... he stopped there to have the tire looked at. Talk about rude customer service... the guy took one look at his tire and said... "Nope, your gonna have to leave it with me for a couple of hours or make an appointment... the earliest is next Wednesday!!! It was a simple fix as there was a small nail in the tire! I always thought that Kal-Tire was a good tire shop with quality service.. If I had a flat tire in front of your shop...I would call a tow truck rather than deal with your rude service guys!!! WOW!!!

Worst customer experience Ive ever had. From the 72 hours it took to get back to me about my initial request for new tires, to not hearing a peep from the store for 4 weeks when I was told 2-3 weeks for the tires to get here, to having to phone the shop myself after 4 weeks and them not knowing where the tires are, to having to call the shop, again, some 6 weeks later, in one final attempt to locate the tires I ordered, to them "magically" appearing out of thin air, to being told "it might get done today" after I was told "it WILL get done today".... not sure what else to say about it..... an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience from A-Z

Avoid Kal tire on Douglas. Brought my van tire there to repair a flat. Went back 2hrs later. They couldnt find it. After waiting 30 mins for the dumbasses they finally realized they gave it to the wrong customer. They drove and got it and dropped it off at my house. They suck. Now my tire has a slow leak where they repaired it and the clear coat is scuffed around rim and they put back on the wrong valve cap. My are grey for the tpms and they put on a black one. Shows they dont care... They refunded my money for the flat repair but if it was free and you paid me to go there I would still not go back. AVOID THEM! Sorry end rant
