Was looking to buy a used vehicle on trade from them. Made it very clear after initial visit that our limit was 14,500 + gst/pst, with the trade. We also made it clear that we didnt want to come back to the dealership and get haggled. So we returned to the dealership, did a test drive, negotiated a few items, and thought we were good to go. To our surprise, the final bill of sale had an extra 400 (ish) for warranty and 600 (ish) for documentation fees. We had previously asked about warranty and were told it had a 30% coverage for 90 days by the dealer, with no mention of a cost associated with that. There were many opportunities for them to be up front with their fees before we were getting ready to write the cheque. What seemed like a straightforward negotiation turned shady at the 11th hour. They wouldnt remove the fees, so we walked out, never to return. Update +1 day: Based on the comment by the dealership (which btw has changed since their original post), I called back to make amends and talked to the sales manager. I was prepared to buy the vehicle assuming they removed the extra fees and apologized for their tactics. He was cold and unapologetic and I guess wasnt aware of what had been posted here (he said it must have posted by his boss). He said "people can post whatever they want on Google Reviews", implying that my original post was somehow not truthful. Needless to say the call didnt last long. These guys must attend the United Airlines school of public relations.

I am pleased with the vehicle. I am very displeased with the sales experience. the sales rep who took "care" of me pushed really hard for the sale, not wanting to let me go shop around, especially since he knew I needed to buy a vehicle (my previous car had died a few days earlier)! I dont hold that against him since after all he is a salesman. But that was despite my obvious struggle with the finances, he kept coming back with different numbers and payment options that confused me a lot, and eventually he came up with a combination of downpayment + bi-weekly payment that did not seem too bad. So of course on the spot I thought it was finally "a good deal" and we shook hands. I learned to like the car, so the bad sale experience feeling went away, but I ran into several issues after the sale : gas consumption much higher than advertised, rush walk around the vehicle (where they are supposed to show you how every little thing works, like bluetooth, lights, etc.) when I took possession a few days after purchase. None were addressed, since they already had my money, I was not worth their time anymore! These people are not interested in you or your experience. Just your money.

Have been a ford owner for over 40 years,i now have a 96 explorer, love it,and went to glenoak (douglas st)to check out a new car.Salesman didnt want to show me a new one(too far for him to walk i guess),had me look at a 2011 instead?huh?he said "these explorers, expeditions etc.practically sell themselves,"that left me with the impression that they didnt really NEED me to buy one, and maybe i should be looking for a truck instead. If i wanted a truck i would have said so.Told me a shipment of new explorers would be in soon,,,i gave him my card and said great,,give me a call when they do and we can check them out then,,instead he gave me his card and told me to call him....couldnt even be bothered to CALL A POTENTIAL $50K buyer!!!...So for the first time in my life i am driving a GMC, a 2016 terrain...maybe their sales manager should read these comments and have a sales staff meeting....If you are looking for a GOOD sales experience avoid this place like the plague!!!!!!

The employees at Glenoak Ford are absolutely delightful. My husband and I came to them from another dealer as their inventory had some vehicles we were interested in, and right from the beginning they made a great impression. After some discussion we opted for a different vehicle than we originally had in mind, and the gentlemen we worked with pulled out every stop imaginable to acquire it for us. My husband and I each had one very specific feature we wanted, and Id searched the extended inventory online to discover only one car in the area with the features we wanted. Even with the source dealership of our ideal vehicle proving a challenge to work with, the men at Glenoak rose above the challenge and did everything possible to get us the car we wanted. They have been nothing but professional from beginning to end. Jerrett, Peter and Troy are fantastic employees at this dealership and I cant recommend them enough. Theyve been amazing through this car purchase.

I have been taking my car for service at Glenoak Ford Downtown for over a year and have been very happy with the work they do. In fact, the service has been so great that when it was time for me to purchase a used vehicle Glanoak Ford was my first choice. I found Amir in sales to be especially helpful. I was looking for something very specific that wasnt available when I began my search. A few weeks later he located exactly what I was looking for and he contacted me immediately. Amir and Pete the Sales Manager worked to get me a great price on my trade-in. A special shout out to Bill in service for the extra time he took to inspect my new vehicle. Ive had the car now for over a month and I couldnt be more pleased. I will definitely return for service and future purchases. Thank you Amir and the team at Glenoak Ford!

I went to the lot just looking at options and new mustangs ended up leaving my truck behind and driving out in a sweet 5 L Mustang, think his name is Chris Im bad with names ,but they were all very funny and friendly and got me into my dream car ..Although I was told 4 weeks later I need new tires soon and was shocked I guess I bought as is and didnt point that out on my own .All my check ups have gone great and their always friendly and nice .They even told me I can wash my car their or have it washed if the guys available when ever I want ...Im reading all these reviews and you cant expect this size dealership to have all of the selection but they are also good at browsing other lots to see what they can accommodate you with if you dont see what you want.love my car and I am a long time customer now..

very disappointed with their lack of communication, and limited customer service level from the managers. Richard M, the salesman was awesome, but because my particular deal was taking some time as I set up financing for a new business... The fast talking, high pressure sales manager, Jarred, sold the vehicle I had put a deposit on. Zero communication, from the dealership after spending a month building a business relationship and when I found out about it and questioned the GSM, he basically made it all my fault. Funny how once I mentioned the business I was buying, and that I would be eventually needing more vehicles, his tone changed and wants to find me another one. ...sorry Glenoak. You get one chance. And you blew it. This is not how you provide customer service
