Really sucks I cant give them 0 stars which is what this company deserves. I had an accident with my Honda Ridgeline on Feb 8/17 and contacted Campus Honda in order to have it repaired. They told me that they dont do autobody repair and they generally deal with Pre-Tech Collision for autobody repairs. The person I had an accident with said to get an estimate and his company would pay for the repair. I initially went to Pre-Tech on Feb 14 to have an estimate done. When I found out the value of the damage the company decided to go through insurance instead. I took my truck back into Pre-Tech on Mar 7/17 and told them that it was now going to be an insurance claim and the same guy that originally did the estimate took a copy of my insurance papers and the claim number and then took the required pictures of the damage. I was told I would be getting a call within the next 2 weeks with a booking appointment. By April 3/17 I still hadnt received a call (4 weeks later) and when I called to enquire about my appointment, I was told that they didnt have any paperwork about my vehicle. The lady I talked to on the phone had the original guy I had dealt with call me back and he told me that he has the pictures of my damage on his camera but there is no copy of the insurance papers. That same day I took my insurance papers in yet again and he photocopied them a second time; and when I asked how long I would have to wait to get my truck fixed he told me he would put a rush on it. On April 13/17, I still hadnt heard anything from them, so I called again to find out when I could take my truck in to be repaired. I talked to the same guy I had been dealing with and he said my paperwork was still on the ladys desk that books appointments and she is on vacation until April 24 and I probably wouldnt get a booking until late May. Needless to say I was not impressed. 7 weeks after taking my truck in and the paperwork is still sitting on someones desk?!!? I contacted ICBC on April 13/17 and told them my situation and asked them to release the claim from Pre-Tech and that I would be taking my truck to Prancing Horse instead. ICBC agreed to release the claim from Pretech. I took my truck to Prancing Horse today (April 18/17) and my truck is booked to be repaired May 3/17. If I ever need autobody repair in the future I will not use Pre-Tech Collision.

I came to CARSTAR Victoria (Pre-Tech Collision) body shop to have my VW Golf fixed. There were little scratches on the drivers door and same side fender. After week and a half of waiting I got my car back and what I saw was really disappointing and frustrating. They have repainted the door and the fender quite well, but paint was newly damaged under the door on the cars body, diameter about 1 inch and metal was exposed. It was impossible not to notice the damage. They either never paid attention to it or just decided not to tell me. When I asked what that was, they started explaining that probably the tape they used when painting the door damaged the paint on the body and it was not a big deal. There is absolutely no rust on the car body and metal on the damaged spot was absolutely clean and had no rust on it. After my questions they took the car somewhere for about 10 minutes and brought it back. I assume they used some touch up paint for that spot. I dont know how well it can protect from rust taking into account that this spot is usually highly vulnerable to puddles. I hope it will be fine. Besides that the interior of the car was dirty, both front and rear seat rows as well as the floor were covered with dust and traces of some chemicals, they had used for painting. I obviously can clean that, but when the bill for several little scratches fixed is $2700, one might expect at least some better service and some respect and honesty towards customers.

On more than one occasion we have had our cars repaired with Pre-tech, the staff are very professional and have always done great work with our cars. I have no problem referring friends and family to Pre-tech as I know their service will always back up my recommendation.

Have used these guys a couple of times. The last time a manager spent half an hour securing damage so the car was in good shape to drive until my car could be worked on. Great service!

Great quality of work and the people are excellent. Stay away from the shady autobody places in town with alcoholic sociopath managers and go here.
