Beware of this shady dealership. Dave sold me a car with mechanical problems. This dude has a cheap scan tool that can remove check engine lights before you check the car out. He does not honor the warranty even though its included in the price. I tried to get the problem fix (engine noise and leak) through their free warranty which WAS covered in the policy (engine) but he wont fix it. unless you bought the so called "GOLD" package for $500 more which is the same as the free coverage but a year longer. Their warranty is not handled by 3rd party company like the other reputable used car dealer. They have their own made up terms and conditions which is void if you dont have their subpar mechanic fix it. Some shop dave teamed up with who will charge diagnostic fees that is not covered in the warranty, even if they end up not fixing anything. This shop suggested I needed an oil change AND a radiator flush for $380... are you serious? Oil change will NOT fix a leaking engine. Not sure how he is still in business. I would rate it a negative star If I could. * In response to the owner: I have removed and edited some comments that are not directly related to the problems, everything else is true however. The companys response was about being defensive and accusing me of being fake or fraud is just wrong and unprofessional. Not a single offer was given to solve the negative review which was the whole point. If he really cares about the customer, he should of offered a compensation regardless instead of pointing fingers. Its too late now since the warranty is over a long time ago. I already had the engine rebuilt for $1300 out of my own pocket and then sold it as I bought another one. I was unlucky and regret my purchase but the warranty WAS there to save me from spending for repairs but it did not happen. I was on the phone with him during the warranty and he sounded like he was in a hurry as in he didnt want to help and not stand behind the cars he sells. In the end I felt scammed and lost decent money so Im not happy and left a review with 1 star, live and learn.

When seeing their adds on craigslist you may think, those are ok prices but what you dont see in the adds because only the shadiest dealerships with something to hide , dont post the mileage (and theres space for it on their post with a 1 or 0, when you get there its over the top numbers). Its almost the first thing you need to know about a car for sale and an obvious red flag when its not there. A lot of the cars are in sub par condition as the real motto is get the most for the least effort out of a customer. Things rattling around the undercarriage missing pieces etc with the old "well get that fixed if you give money first" routine . dont bother with the owner response, you dont know and will never know who I am nor will any back peddling diplomacy work with the family owned, business for that long and everybodys happy but you nonsense.... be transparent with info, get the kilometers in your adds and stop playing games , fix em before you sell them

One out of three cars last year aint bad. Too bad the 2 lemons went to our children who suffered the breakdowns and anxiety of getting a car that barely lasted weeks. Thousands of dollars to fix them and they still are not worth what we paid for them. protection for drivetrain was an extra burden. I guess this education only cost us $7000.00, hey its less than university. I am saddened because I liked dealing with Our local dealer. Thanks for the finders fee but I would have rather been given sound advice.

I have bought 4 cars from Dave Burrell and each transaction has always been pleasant. He always allows me extended road tests to make sure I like the car and even get my own mechanical inspections if I choose, these are after all used vehicles . My husband is First Nations and the owner refused to accept his status card, which waives the tax. The owner basically said that if he has to pay tax, so does my husband. This guy is totally racist and we will be taking this issue further. We will never go back and will be spreading the word.
