I had a terrible experience today at this location. After driving on the highway a check engine light came on. I have a scanner so I am able to see the code, I know that the code is related to the turbo. I wanted to make sure that nothing was falling apart before continuing the last leg of my journey. I had first gone to a great Canadian oil change location and was told they didnt have the tools to help me. He then pointed me in the direction of your shop. I pulled in very close to closing (which I was aware of). As to not take up too much of the mechanics time I asked if the man had a second to look at my car because the check engine light was throwing a turbo code (I have my own scanner). He agreed went back into the shop for his scanner and came back out. He then said to me "you people and your internet phones and shook his head at me" I was taken aback because of the tone of his voice. I then explained to him that I have a scanner so I know what the code is for. The code can be caused by many things and all I wanted him to do was make sure I could make it home safe. (it would lose power randomly and then very quickly get it again). The man then said to me in a very disgusted condescending tone "You seem to have this all figured out now dont you? I am not sure what you want from me...?" I responded with exactly what I had originally said when I walked into his shop that all I needed was for him to make sure that I would make it safe to Kelowna. He looked at me with a disgusted look on his face and told me that he could not tell the future. He then walked away from me without another word. I cant help but feel as if this man treated me the way he did because I am a woman. I was raised by a father who was a mechanic and raced his own classic car. He gave me the scanner to make sure that I did not get screwed around by mechanics like the man you have at your location. Today was the first time I felt truly thankful for the morals and integrity my father and his mechanic buddies taught me. I am very disappointed that there are still humans in society today that feel as if it is okay to talk to another human being (regardless of gender) in the way that he did today.I will never recommend this location to anyone, in fact I will be sure to tell anyone who asks not to bring their car to this location. Your business advertises Integrity and as a human being with many years of education I know what integrity means and I would advise this establishment to look at the definition again and go over it with their employees. (e.g. the state of being whole and undivided., and/or., the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.) Today I feel that your location failed to uphold any kind of integrity.

Highly recommended - I cant say enough good things about Boult. Was on a weekend trip with my girlfriend and the car broke down and we were stranded and they took us in after they were closed (they live upstairs from the shop). They went above and beyond to diagnose the problem for us, and even though they werent able to fix it the problem (we needed a BMW-specific computer), they put us in touch with a shop nearby that could fix it for us. They also gave us an incredible deal for the labour they put in. Knowledgable, honest and kind. If you need a mechanic in Penticton, come here! Thanks again. - Derek.

I have spent the last 3 months of my income and time being scammed and towed by several Propane mechanics throughout BC. I THEN FOUND BOULT AUTO. WOW. I AM STILL HAPPY DANCING BECAUSE THANKS TO WESTIN. THIS YOUNG MAN NOT ONLY SAVED MY SUMMER BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY HE SAVED WHATS LEFT OF MY SANITY. I SWEAR I WILL ONLY EVER LET THIS GUY WORK ON ANY OF MY VEHICHLES. SO FOR ALL WOMEN OUT THERE???; ....STOP LETTING YOURSELF BE WRIPPED OFF BY OTHER MONEY HUNGRY SCOUNDRELS AND TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO WESTIN AT BOULT. Horrible Service, They were all pleasant when we took our vehicle to them with the cost being over $900.00 but after that it was downhill. We were told to get our piece of Sh**t out of their building or they would have it towed even after we were told it could stay there until the next business day. Woman there had the most disgusting manner Ive ever dealt with. We were told afterwards that these people were new owners.....too bad we never knew that or we would have NEVER gone there.

Very experienced, Fair price, and Honest. I have a 1984 Mazda RX7 I bought as a project car. It has been sitting since 1999 and it was parked because it got harder and harder to start (last owner said apex seals were gone) if that was true engine would need a full rebuild. It took Al no time at all to find the main problem (wasnt turning over). They fixed the starting problem and also found a bad fuel pump, now its running good and starts right up. Huge Thanks to Al

I was in a real bind over the long weekend as my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee started making really loud sounds and I needed to drive back to Vancouver that day. Most places were closed but luckily Boult Automotive was open and more than willing to help. They were super nice and professional. Being a woman, Im weary of being ripped off but they didnt rip me off at all! very fair pricing. I would recommend them to anyone in the Penticton area!

We brought our truck in there on the start of a weekend. We were in a pinch and came from Osoyoos. Boults was not only open, but able to get us in right away. Very affordable (much less than Canadian Tire had quoted), quick and efficient work. This will be our go-to place from now on. We are extremely happy with the work, value, and service.

Its very hard to find a good honest mechanic, but we found this mechanic really easy to deal with when our 97 GMC safari van was not starting properly. Allen found the issue so fast and at a reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone.

Great experience here. They even fixed my vehicle on a Sunday night, and helped get a tow truck driver. Charged very fair prices as well; I have already gone back to get other work done and would use this place again.
