I was hunting around for a new mechanic and I met Darcy. I was impressed with Darcy right off the bat. A very knowledgeable man with lots of connections in the industry, all of which speak highly of him. I am in the process of fixing up a 1992 Ford Mustang LX 5.0. When I bought this car it had been neglected. Darcy has fixed my suspension front and back, done a complete brake job, and put me in touch with others in the industry that specialize in other areas. Darcys prices are very fair, the quality of parts Darcy installs are fantastic, made to last. If your looking for a new mechanic, if you need advice, without question stop by and see Darcy you will be glad you did!

Was very happy with the service. I brought my old Landcruiser in and they checked it out for free and gave me an estimate. They were very very nice and accommodating! Before taking it into them I took it to Midas Muffler (I think on Fell Ave) with a coupon for a free Comprehensive Brake check. They insisted that a complete brake check cost $50. Not sure the difference between a comprehensive and complete but I took it to Budget Brake and got it check out for free without a coupon or a hassle.

I called there day before my visit and they told me, that my repair will cost me $650. When I arrived, the price for exactly same repair was changed to $1.000, so I went to another and much cheaper service. And I called to few other services and it was cheaper everywhere!!! Cant recommend, they are overprized!

The service and knowledge was excellent! They are all very nice and professional on what they do. They told me exactly what was wrong with my car and got taken care right away. The price was very reasonable for a quality work. I highly recommend Budget Brake and Muffler Auto Centres to everyone!

HIGHWAY ROBBERY - Do not go here if you want an honest price! These guys quoted me over $100 to replace a simple muffler strap. Muffler Man in New Westminster did the same job in under a half hour for only $25 (parts & labour). WANT HONESTY? - Go to MUFFLER MAN in NEW WEST!!!!

Have been using Darcys franchise for years and years - all my cars. Wouldnt let anyone else touch my brakes! The crew is very accommodating and vey competent. Dont understand the overpriced review comments - must be posted by their competitors!

Great service and fast work. They didnt try to sell me a bunch of stuff that I dont need, or give a whole list of potential problems with my car. They are upfront, honest, and efficient; the way its supposed to be. Will recommend to anyone.

Service seems Ok but definitely overpriced. Was quoted $100/tire more than Costco for the same tires and $180 + $65 labor for a new battery when I can get a top rated battery from Costco or Walmart for half that.

cost for 10 minutes of work aka plugging a computer onto the battery- $70, canadian tire charges $30 for the exact same thing.
