For some time I have been looking to downsize from a hd truck to a 1/2 ton pick up for a more comfortable ride and that could pull our 32RL Sunset Trail TT. There were three requirements on our list; 1. a great ride since my wife has a hip and shoulder injury 2. adequate power to pull almost 10,000 pounds 3. the gvwr rating with a 6.5 box While searching online truck sites I came across Watkin Motors Ford. Their web page was well put together and the details were easy to follow with a great selection of trucks. We were introduced to Sales Associate Dean Hutter who did an excellent job of showing us around, finding the right truck and introducing us to the management team who were willing to work late to complete the deal, which was a bonus, for we had the pleasure of driving the truck home. The new improved 3.5 twin turbo with increased tow ratings and horsepower, is a blast to drive and very quiet as well! We want to thank Watkin Motors Ford, Dean Hutter and Gerry Bowbell for making this purchase a pleasurable experience.

Gerry Bowbell at Watkins Ford goes above and beyond all expectations A month ago I bought my first new truck. A beautiful ruby red F150 from Watkins Ford in Vernon. I got a good deal on the price and was able to take advantage of multiple discount opportunities. There was however a mix up with tires and I thought I would have to buy another set. But, then something amazing happened, Gerry Bowbell the Sales Manager did something I never could have imagined. Gerry gave me snow tires on rims and installed them free of charge. Unbelievable… Now, what Gerry didn’t know was that I had a set of minivan tires on rims that I was going to sell. But now I am giving them to a single parent family who could not afford new tires, Especially at Christmas. Well done Gerry you are a prince among men. I will always buy Ford and always from you. The actual service to our vehicle is consistently great. The prices are comparable to most dealerships. The only down side is the staff, like most of us, make mistakes. There have been several occasions when something I have passed along to the lady booking the appointment, was not passed along to the technician. This inturn wastes some of my time, while waiting for the team to look into the detail that was missed. This is annoying; if it was once or even twice, it would be excusable... however Ive found it to be more consistent as well. Scheduling is fairly easy and I have found that this dealership typically has more availability for appointments. The service manager is fabulous and tries very hard to go "above and beyond."

We were very satisfied. The price was great, the staff very friendly. You have quickly made us an appointment for the brake change. We then got even a "refund" for the old brakes. They have original parts used and still were cheaper, would have as its neighbor, the cheap brakes "made in China" is used. D

My experience overall has been really good as in with my salesperson Sean also Sherry in the finance department did her best to put things together for me the only thing that was a bit of a mess was they said everything would be ok and I would be able to get the vehicle registered in Alberta with a plate but as it turns out they did not have all the information Alberta has changed their laws and now requires a visual on the vehicle identification tag but things have turned out alright I am not registered in British Columbia its not over yet there are things to be done with the vehicle and he shall see how everything turns out but up until now everything is quite satisfactory

Update: Picked up a 2014 Edge from WM. 5 stars again! I have purchased 4 F150s from Watkin Motors. All the staff is very friendly and most of the front line staff know me by name. I surely wouldnt return if I had problems. The service dept has always gone above and beyond what I have expected. The ONLY dealership I feel comfortable going into, even just to have a look, with out the high or annoying sales tactics. I actually ended up at Watkin after being pressured with a new truck sale at the dealer across the street. I told them up front I would walk if they pressured me. I guess I made my point. Our second vehicle that has been purchased at Watkin Motors. I found them to have an informative and helpful sales team which made our choices very easy and stress free. A service package was included with my purchase and I had no complaints in quality of work or service from that department team. They offer a complimentary wash after each and every service - which although small, is a nice touch. I will return to Watkins when I am in the market again.

We were in Vernon for a few days. Thinking of trading our truck in and dropped in here just to look. The Sales Rep- Audias, came out and helped us. He was friendly and very accommodating. We ended up purchasing a 2016 Ford F150 4x4 Sport with the Special Edition package. It was a very smooth and easy process and the staff there were professional. Very happy with our truck! Brad arrranged for the best financing and refund of the policies on my old truck and reviewed with me the best plan for extended warranty as well as maintenance plan on the new one. Everything was great, oil change and seasonal tire rotation. Time was very good, only an hour or so. The only minor complaint was they forgot to wash my car as a courtesy and I had to ask for that. The customer before me was asked which was why I remembered the free car wash service. I really like going to this dealer for service. Efficient, timely and friendly.
