I went to the Vernon store a couple months ago and bought oil and filters for my two motorcycles for future oil changes. I didnt have the numbers for the filters so the employee looked them up. Last night I went to change the oil in one of the bikes as I planned a ride in the morning. Everything was going fine until I discovered the filter didnt fit!!! Oil drained and filter off I decided it was dumb to stick old filter back on so I cancelled the ride. In the morning I went to the store to return the filter and at the very least expected an apology and maybe even an a good price on the correct filter. It is a 22 km drive one way to get to the store. What I got was cant help you unless you have the receipt which I suppose is understandable if I hadnt shopped there for some time and explained the situation in detail. I asked for the correct filter and was quoted a ridiculous price. I left biting my tongue and luckily found the filter in a pile of receipts. When I returned the four filters they did refund my money but again no apology. I went to a competitor and found the correct filter at half the price they quoted me.

I just spent 25 minutes on hold on the phone only to have Wally pick up. This is not an exaggeration - I can see the time tick by on my phone. When I said, "Finally, man I just spent over 20 minutes on hold" Wally said, "Yeah well were busy". I told him what I needed and he said they didnt have it in stock. It was WEATHER STRIPPING. How do you not have weather stripping? He didnt even go look or suggest an alternative. I hung up, furious at the waste of time and rudeness, and called Gilberts. They had a solution for me within three minutes. Every time I call and get Wally I usually hang up, wait a minute or two and call back to get someone else because I always get lousy service from him. Not impressed. Go to Gilberts - theyre sometimes more expensive but theyre always polite on the phone and always will find a solution for you.

I dont go to this Lordco after repeated bad service from older staff members.They refuse to put parts under my account so I dont get the small discount it offers, theyve told me they will match competitors prices on the phone and when I go there say they dont.Attitude every time. Gone here many times and no more, Too bad its the only Lordco in town but there are other nice local parts stores such as Gilberts and partly Daves in Vernon. If I totally need a Lordco part I visit their friendly Kelowna store on Dilworth.

I am on vacation and needed a cabin and engine air filter. I work for a company that deals with Lordco on a wholesale basis and when I went to purchase what I needed they were very quick and helpful. Didnt have all the parts I needed as inventory was off, but again I am used to that at my own store sometimes. Very nicely laid out store, so much so I took some pictures to show my bosses when I get back.

Good selection but long wait times in lines. Just an older way of doing business in that you have to get the part and invoice from the back and then go through the til at the front.
