We stopped in Vernon on the way to SilverStar because the heating in my car had stopped working (a bit of a concern with windows fogging up and rainy dark winding roads) and found Dunbar Automotive to have great reviews, so we stopped in to ask them if there was anything they could do. Within 20 minutes someone looked at the car, within 45 minutes the issue had been (temporarily) fixed and we were back on the road. The owner (not sure?) let me know that the issue would likely reoccur, and advised me to get it permanently fixed once I was back home. He wrote down exactly what was wrong with it so I could tell my mechanic at home. All this - for free! These guys were professional, efficient, and really nice from start to finish. I will most certainly be going back in the future should I have any other issues, and will be recommending them to my friends and family. Thank you for your great service!

Dunbar was recommended to me by a good friend. I take my Mercedes to Dunbar instead of going to the dealership in Kelowna. Last week I had a serious problem that could have cost over 2,000.00. However, Dunbar diagnosed it and fixed the problem for under 300.00. They easily could have done things differently and I would have been none the wiser. I will remain a loyal customer and will be happy to recommend them to others. The automotive world needs more like them.

The Absolute best service i have ever had on a car repair. My car had been to 3 other shops in the last 2 months with no results, except a large bill at all of them. The staff at Dunbar Auto were so knowledgeable the repair took 15 minutes and they didnt even charge me. we have 4 vehicles in our family and they will all be going to Dunbar Auto for servicing. We have a 2007 RAV4 that had some problems and Toyota never diagnosed them. We took it to Dunbar Automotive and they fixed those problems AND found other problems that Toyota didnt see or care to notice. They fixed it all up and boy, it feels like a new car!

Staff got us in without an appointment, 1 hour before closing as we were passing through town. I needed to replace the rear brakes and rotors, they did it without hesitation so we could get back on the road.

Excellent service, friendly people & they get the Job done. never had an issue, they gave me a ride when i was going to call a cab. Tuned my truck computer and i gained 6 Mpg i am more then satisfied.

I Have not had a problem with them, Great shop. A little expensive for rebuilding engine type stuff... but you get what you pay for ( I guess ? )
