This review is for the Service Department. We have our vehicle serviced here due to living in close proximity to your location. However, well be taking our vehicle elsewhere in the future. Unfortunately weve had too many misinformed, misdiagnosed & unpleasant encounters to justify using your service department any longer. The last two visits your service team failed to reset our oil levels on the dashboard, and we were blamed both times by your dept by not serving the vehicle on-time. Every single visit you have misquoted repair times, even for something as simple as an oil change or tire rotation, leading to missed work and having to rearrange our whole day. Quoting 2 hours and having it take nearly 4 is not acceptable. A simple call to let your clients know youre running late is all thats needed. Additionally, we had a rattle in our car for months that your team claimed never existed after bringing it in countless times. Eventually, your service department guilted us and advised we may even be charged if we keep bringing it in without a real issue being found. Staff are short, often rude, blameful & take no consideration for client needs. Weve just had enough and have given numerous chances over the last two years to rectify the bad service.

Generations of my family have been loyal Honda drivers, but when I asked for a good deal on a larger H vehicle and wanted to trade in my one year old CRV XL- Discovery Honda could not come up with a competitive offer. I was very patient, and gave Discovery many chances to make a deal, but I finally went to Hyundai: bought an amazingly beautiful and luxurious car, was given great trade in value and 0% financing. Loving the driving quality and all the extras! Sorry Honda - if you cant respect my past loyalty to your brand, there are others out there who will welcome my business. Reply to response below: Seeing as youd like to discuss this further, and in a public forum, I will respond to your odd reply: Funny Greg, I havent owned my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe XL for anywhere near 6 months, so Im not sure why you would respond with this odd justification and blatant misinformation about the CRV. Im sorry that my displeasure wasnt apparent in the emails I sent to you, maybe thats why you stopped responding to them, which led me to look elsewhere. The reality is, youve lost any future sales from us, no matter how friendly you might be with me or my husband (more inappropriate information you posted in your response).

Recently bought a new to us Honda CRV from Discovery Honda. Found the Salesman Lloyd Jones to be fantastic. We had been shopping for approximatly a year and largely undecided on type of SUV we wanted as a family. Decided the CRV fit us best and the price was right. Felt that we did well on our trade and the dealership complied well with our requests. Well worth the drive down island to this friendly dealership. Would recommend to others. Havent had any experience with the service department as of yet, it would be a bit of a long drive just for scheduled maintenance .

Discovery Honda in Duncan is an A-class operation. I have known the managers Greg and Jason for over 20 years. I have done a lot of business with them. If you deal with them, you will get an honest and fair deal. On top of that, their service department is one of the best in the Cowichan Valley. I would highly recommend them.
