Was on vacation from Alberta when my engine light came on and the service def system message appeared, so I brought my ram 2500 diesel into the Duncan dealership bow mel. Was told I would have to leave it with them for the day, and so I did. Was called and told that the truck was ready and that there was no issues and they reset the engin light. Was told by service that I was good to go and I informed them I was driving back to Alberta the next day. Well 150km on our way back the same message appeared and the engine light came on again. Frustrated as I called the Nanaimo dealership and explained my story to them they had me drop off the vehicle right away. Turns out my def regen pump was failing and the truck needed a few updates... Nanaimo fixed the truck and looked after me. While the Duncan dealership did a half ass job. Please avoid this dealership if at all possible!!!!!! The worst service Ive experienced in my life in regards to vehicles.... make the dive to Nanaimo, and understand if your from Alberta they will help you out.

Many companies boast about their excellent customer service but then you go there and its just average or even below average. They often fail at basic customer service 101, smile and be pleasant to your customers. But service is one of the biggest factors in customer loyalty. Why spend tons of money on advertising if your people are going to let down the customers those ads bring in. Will Taylor at Bow-Mel Chrysler is one of those guys that understands this and provides the kind of service that keeps me coming back and recommending him to others. He is always friendly, knows his stuff and really cares and goes the extra mile to not just satisfy but impress customers. In fact I was a customer of Ensign Chrysler in Victoria years ago when Will was there and when he moved to Duncan and Bow-Mel, so did I. I bought a new 2014 Cherokee at Bow-Mel again because of the service I got from Will. I knew I would be taken care of. Bow-Mel should try to get more guys like Will Taylor in their service department.

If you value your money and time, never EVER step foot on Bow Mels lot. They took advantage of me, charged thousands more then I thought I would be paying. Added $3,000 for an extended warranty that definitely wasnt worth it. $1500 for a detailing and weather undercoating, which was absolutely unnecessary for a 1 year old car on Vancouver Island. When they tell you to bring the car back tomorrow and they will "Make it pretty for you", you dont expect to be charged for it, especially not more then a grand!!!! Also they royally screwed up their paperwork and it doesnt show with any credit bureau that I even have a car loan. So it is not building my credit. I have been back in about 10 times to try and right things and they are SO unhelpful. Waste of time and money.

its been two years but i still cant get over it.. i had to let it out..first time buyer of new vehicle...got helped by their sales rep named Sonny.. said he will give us a great deal when we came back and ready to have a deal he said that we cannot get a discount and...that the pricetag on the vehicle that was on it that day and the day we looked was wrong so we paid more than what we thought it was....i have learned the lesson the hard way....but wont recommend it to friends....but u know what we got better offer last summer..we almost grab it if not for the nightmare we had the first time.. i think it was very unprofessional n irresponsible as a brand representative to take advantage of people without so much knowledge of the product they are selling.. thats all

Incredibly moronic dealership. You phone and ask if a salesman youd talked to a year or two before is there, and they say "its private information! we cant do that!" yet any company selling anything often has staff names and PICTURES on its website! :) And (personable, general at least friendliness is the foundation of the most basic of business!) youd meet them by going in anyway! :):):) I asked for the manager and he was the same as the brain dead gal at the front --- this is a GREAT guide for this loser bunch -- their now patent IQs will then give you problems on buying and servicing from the get go -- and later on as you service etc.! Waste of your time business - stay away :):).

Have been drooling over a 2015 Renegade for too long. The folks at Bow-Mel Chrysler were very patient with me and when I finally made the decision to purchase it were just awesome with their help. From the sales staff, parts staff and support staff just great! Just love the Renegade and so pleased I was able to purchase it from a dealership that has been locally and family owned in our Cowichan Valley for 50 years. Shop local it sure worked for me!

I purchased a 2013 1500 RAM from Bow-Mel my rep Ali was outstanding, no pressure and my wife and I both felt comfortable with him immediately! Not only did I get a screaming deal, I got screaming service afterwards. Dont think twice go see Ali tell him Martin sent you and you will have the same excellent experience. Its no wonder Bow-Mel is the number one dodge dealer on the island. Thanks Ali, Chelsea and rest of the crew at Bow-Mel!!

Never take your vehicle here. I took my truck in here to get some axle seals replaced and a new steering gearbox. Mechanics are too incompetent to turn the steering wheel back and forth to work out the air bubbles and my left front axle seal is already leaking again. Dont use them go find a mechanic that you trust rather than let the boneheads at Bowmel work on your vehicle

Took in my vehicle to have a full service done and asked them to look at my brakes that seemed not right. They said everything is fine. 2 weeks later the brakes started making more noise and turns out they had seized calipers and warped rotors. Looks like my full service wasnt so full after all.

If I can give Bow-Mel higher than 5 stars I would.....went to a very stressful week with our truck and Bow Mel made this week so much better ...the parts, service and sales staff were no short of fantastic...ty guys from my family...I will definitely buy another vehicle in the future.....

Best service EVER. They do 110%. Grande Prairie, on the other hand, did zero percent, and then YELLED at me when I was upset.
