This is the BEST mechanic I have been able to find since our family friend retired 5 years ago. We tried many local New West auto repair shops- big name and small- and it was trouble accross the board. Minit Tune on 12th has been the most family friendly and cost effective safety option for our family vehicle. They have never pressured us to buy any service and have always given us very accurate estimates and realistic repairs for our vehicle. I have and will continue to recommend them to everyone we know. Its rare to find this high quality of service in auto repair establishments nowadays, this location is truely a New West gem!

This place is run by what I would commonly refer to as "scam artists". I needed a place nearby to do a basic oil change and was astounded at the laundry list of invented problems these guys threw at me afterwards. If I didnt know any better, I would have ended up spending nearly $2000 fixing all these "problems". Fortunately, I know my car, and I knew they were lying. I took the time to verify their claims later, and happily confirmed they were all false. DO NOT go here. Or if you do, do not trust a word they say when they tell you what needs to be fixed on your car.

Ive been taking my car here for years. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and patiently answer all my ignorant car questions. The prices are very reasonable and Ive never once felt like theyve pushed me to purchase something that I didnt need. Thanks to their expertise and honesty I dont need to spend time worrying about maintaining my car since I know its in good hands.

I dont like taking my car to others, but this was beyond my abilities. Joe was highly recommended and I got quotes from a few places. He was one of the least expensive and he is a good guy, youll see when you meet him. He did a good job and my car has been smooth as butter for the past few months.

went in for an oil change with complementary wheel rotation , etc. a week later my front brake started making noise. in summary, 2 out of 5 lug nuts were never tightened which has caused my rotor/s to warp. this shop should not be allowed to operate if they cant even torque your lug nuts properly.

Just had the maintenance package done. Great, friendly service! They gave lots of great feedback including priorities for what future maintenance needed to be done and even figured out a squealing problem that Ive had looked at multiple times and never found a solution for. Highly recommended.

Needed to get my breaks checked and came here. Joe (the owner) was extremely helpful and offered to do a test drive to see if the breaks were working perfectly. Will definitely come back here the next time I need an oil change or need an honest opinion about my car.

I keep my car up with recommended service as per code on my dash. Ive been here a few times for oil change for convience of location. Never comes back with a laundry list of "problems" like a previous reviewer who felt like he was getting scamed.

These guys are fantastic. I had a few emergencies last month and they got my truck fixed and back on the road quickly, plus theyre right down the street from my house. Paul and his team are top notch and Im glad to have a great shop so close.

Best place around town and they are OPEN SUNDAYS!!!!! Cars dont brake Monday to Friday ONLY. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Prices are great. Ive been to many shops before this one and Im sticking with Minit tune new west.
