Shogo & Japanoid have given us excellent service on our Toyota Camry & Hiace camper van. Were really happy with the quality & speed of service & find them a good value. I wouldnt let the negative reviews influence you if you want really great work on your vehicle. When I find a really great mechanic that knows my vehicle & particularly notices things Ive missed (like that the Hiace has 2 window washer fluid tanks - 1 front 1 back) and takes the time to explain it, I stick with them. We bought our Hiace from a retired Firefighter / diesel mechanic who said theyre the only shop he would use. Pretty great recommendation!

Ridiculous prices, ridiculous service... there was no leaks before i went here... went and got an oil change done, Shogo tells me i have an oil leak... the very next day seen oil spots on my garage floor!! wtf??? what did u guys do?! check the oil, its way over filled... got my friend to drain some of the oil for me, and voila! oil leaks gone... and you know how other shops will check the basics on your car (brakes, fluids etc) included in an oil change... not here... its a half hour labour charge for that.... are u frkn kidding me??

Really rude experience, and over priced garbage. I went to buy filters from them because I didnt have time to order oem from online. I was given the biggest jokes ever called filters. The filters had carboard in them and after researching them online, I only saw terrible, terrible reviews. I paid more than oem pricing, and didnt get anything more than a cold shoulder with them. My friends have had terrible experiences with their price, quality of parts, and them not honouring their word. This is the reasoning for my rating.

Recently had a local/ON garage damage the engine on an import I bought from Japanoid 10 years ago when I was working in Calgary and found it on the web. I contacted Shogo who managed to find the parts in Taiwan and have them shipped quickly and at a reasonable price. The vehicle has always been very reliable and continues to be a great marketing tool for the company. I would deal with Japanoid again.

Once they have youre money they treat you like s***. We had them import a vehicle for us and they messed us around for 2 years after bringing it in with the wrong sized wheels. Theyre overpriced no matter what you want. If you need parts got to Rocky Mountain Imports (also for importing vehicles) and CVI Auto in Richmond can do all the services you need for a fair price. DONT GO TO JAPANOID!!!!!

Had to get an oil change for my delica, and didnt have time to go to one of the better RHD mechanics. Was overpriced, but fast. But I cant get over how FILTHY the place was. Everything was scattered around, parts strewn. Honestly, made me question the kid of job they do under the hood. Like sure, greasy, fine. But inside the office was just piles of garbage.

I bought a car though a different broker and they strongly recommended that I have my car looked over by the guys a Japanoid. I am glad that I listened. They found a couple of problems with my new car , but still managed to get me on the road the same day. Every car I buy from Japan will be stopping in to see Shogo and his team from now on.

Shogo the owner arranged ~400$ of unapproved work that included 200$ in test drives, even after I emailed him to stop work. He didnt do the job asked for which was an inspection and lied about having it done. Very dishonorable do not trust his shop. Huge bill nothing but day time running lights to show for it. SCAM ARTIST!! ALERT!

i got my brakes done . on my car and shogo wants me to do it again . i told him its done. he said it wont pass bc inspection if you dont do them . i told him go head and do them just to get inspection . he charge me for it but it was not done. on the top of that his rude and liar. a year after i am doing my brakes now at midas .

Ive only had a positive experience at Japanoid. Parts prices seems reasonable comparing to the quotes I got from Japan directly. The owner was helpful the phone trying to resolve an issue with my Delica. The work Japanoid performed on my Delica was reasonably prices and the fix the did solve the problem.

I went to Japanoid after 2 mechanics misdiagnosed the problems with my car. Japanoid promptly diagnosed the problem and Shogo explained to me in detail before purchasing the parts needed to fix my car. Service was excellent and I am happy to have found a new mechanic.

Wouldnt work with me at all on an overpriced steering idler after it failed in 3 months. Quite rude about it all. Honestly if it had been cheaper to buy I wouldnt be so chapped but hes charging a premium for it.
